Cakes, sweets, fresh home made ice cream, coffee, tea and snacks! Refreshing on a hot summers day or heart warming during the winter this cafe always wins. Service good and with a smile, very clean, toilet facilities, easy to find and very well priced! It's a must!

CaffèBar con anche funzione di ristorante ubicato a pochi passi dal centro di Brunico.Il locale si presenta molto bene con alcuni muri di pietra nella zona ristorante che lo rendono quasi âtipicoâ.Il servizio non è molto efficiente, così come la qualità del cibo: scarsa.Non si può servire unâinsalata già condita con olio e con solo due fette di pane. Non comprendo neanche il motivo di chiamarla âinsalata estivaâ se di estivo câè ben poco.Il rapporto qualità /prezzo è da furto legalizzato: unâacqua frizzante da 1L 4â¬. Consiglio piuttosto di prendervi un bel gelato sulla strada o di andare a mangiare nel chioschetto âAnGrabenâ in cui si trova una varietà qualitativamente alta di panini e burger.Locale con grandi potenzialità : da migliorare assolutamente.

We found this place by chance on a wander through the Main Street in Bruneck. In German it's called Woertz Baeck. We had pre lunch drinks and the selection was excellent. Service was attentive and good too. Sit outside if you can and watch the world go by.

Bellissimo bar, con veranda esterna ( Wintergarten), e all'interno dispone di sala per fumatori. Ottima scelta su dolce e salato. Il Bauerntost veramente buono. La signora molto brava, gentile e simpatica

Siamo capitati in questo posto cercando un locale per pranzare al volo; piadina brie e prosciutto crudo molto gustosa. Il personale, veloce e cortese, ci ha informato che alcune cose erano terminate, cosa abbastanza comprensibile perché c'era tanta gente, ed era anche abbastanza tardi per il pranzo. Tutto sommato buono.

Prima di Natale ci fermiamo in questo bar centrale, dove non ero mai stata prima. Ho preso un ottimo punch con succo d'arancio naturale, non il solito preparato industriale. Buono lo strudel. Ottimo il servizio. Ci torneremo

My wife and I were in Brunico they July to see our friends. We had a wonderful lunch at the Restaurant Amaten celebrating the birthday of our friend. The meal and service were excellent and the view of the mountains was outstanding. Our Brunico friends love dinning at the restaurant which is very close to their summer home in the mountains.Dear Johnthank you for your great review. You will need to have someone local or who lives in South Tyrol for you to know and stumble across this small cafe as it is absolutely not easy to locate in the mountains....luckily my partner is from the area so we could navigate to it pretty easy. This cafe is extremely simple and basic but the cakes the lady owner produces are mouthwateringlg incredible. There where 4 of us sampling the delicacies of these fresh wonders and the owner kindly produced a little sample plate for us where we could taste a vast array of her baking. We had Italian coffee and sparkling water to accompany the sweets. The cafe has a good sized seating area and you can get the cakes to go. Enjoy eating some fresh cakes here and you will absolutely want to take some away.
