What a massive disappointment Homage was! It's housed in a gorgeous building, with lovely dining rooms and nice decorations. It looks like an intimate dining space and promises homely German cuisine just like Oma used to make. Well, we learned about Oma alright...!Oma's food is grossly overcooked! Fish was inedible, pork was tough as old boots, peas (frozen!) were disgusting.Oma lives in the past. No credit card facilities. Cash only.Oma must be huge, or her kids were. Serving portions were enormous! Way too much. Especially considering the food was so bad.In summary, we felt totally ripped off. The worst meal in Germany by far. Don't waste your time - there are lots of other restaurants nearby. In hindsight we should have gone to the restaurant next door to Homage...!

This was recommended so we went before our walking tour. Martin Luther church is visible from the restaurant. A seat outside involves and we had to cover our juice beverage pronto. We ordered the Hearty Breakfast: scrambled eggs, piled high w bacon and sausages. 3 pieces of toast w a dish of butter. No jam offered. Tasty food. Our waitress was detached and impersonable. Perhaps because she was managing the entire outside by herself. A nice place to sit but the sun does come up and is quite hot. Bathroom inside is clean and easy to get to. No stairs. A small park nearby w questionable clientele.Thank you for visiting us at Lloyd's.We were very happy about your rating.We wish you a nice time in Germany.Best regards, Your Lloyds Team.

We had lunch here--the bratwurst with sauerkraut was OK, the chicken with rice was good, and the sauerbraten with potato dumplings was excellent. Service was good and the decor is fun.

For me cafe positano is the place to go to if you want to eat or buy great cakes of any kind. No matter if you choose fruit cakes or the ones with cream all of them excell. It's pricey but definitely worth while.
