It appears as a typical local diner but there is much less in the greasy category and more to the healthy. The biscuits & gravy were even relatively low fat compared to other places I've had them. Dropped in twice for breakfast and quite enjoyed both.

I couldn't find anything about it to bring me back again. Waitress acts like She is doing you a big favor waiting on your table, cook makes whatever He feels like and serves it to you and waitress doesn't even look to see if it is correct. Waitress feels insulted by a $2. tip,

My spouse and I like to camp at Big Basin Redwoods State Park every so often. We just spent a week there and ate at Rocky's Cafe every morning. We found this place a couple years ago and really love it!This time the service was not as good. There seemed to be a couple people who were very new to being waitress. One person, even asked me to hand over the the condiments while I was still eating. I had a piece of toast in my hand and she asked for them and handed them back. Not good service. BUT there was one waitress on our last day who was very good! The food continues to be good and reasonably priced.

Four of us met for breakfast. We order a 2 selection custom omelet, the power breakfast (veggies and eggs), eggs, hash browns, and toast, and egg and avocado on toast. We also ordered one croissant, one apple pie, and 4 coffees. Our bill was $58, before tipping. All the breakfasts were okay, not great. The power breakfast with the veggies was way under cooked. The veggies were almost raw. Having raw green beans for breakfast is not very appetizing. The bakery has many gluten free options. The service was friendly. The restaurant was crowded and noisy but you could still hear the conversation at the table. The parking is limited. We will try it again and hope for a better experience.
