Vaak een rotzooi binnen. Veel te harde te moderne muziek. Wordt bemand door tieners die als bijbaantje deze frietzaaak draaien en niet spannen waar het over gaat. Ruim een half uur voor sluitingstijd de stoelen als op tafel !

After we went 4 days in Germany we decided to finish this weekend in a restaurant in the village where my parents has lived for more then 10 years. Although these 10 years they never visited this restaurant as it is about 7 km. from their house and there are many other restaurants nearby.People are friendly and the menu came almost directly. Many choice with avaerage prices. All the four of us made a different choice and all of us ate very good. We say:"Sure we will come back".Except restaurant it's a café as well; in the beginning you could smell some smoke, but after 5 or 10 minutes no more.

Nice typical Dutch tavern in the center of Goirle with quick and friendly service. I had made reservation for 2 persons, my brother and myself. Due to traffic jams we arrived 30 minutes too late, but nevertheless our table had been kept reserved of us. As we now only had 45 min to order and finished our dinner to get in time at the workshop we had to attend we only had a small dinner. I had a varkenshaas saté and my brother a salad withy goat cheese. Both were very good and enough the fill an empty stomach. As said, service was very friendly and helpfull to get us in time at our workshop, although the tavern was filled and all the tables were occupied.I will recommend this tavern to any one who is looking for a nice an cosy place to eat in Goirle!

Afgelopen zaterdag ben ik met een vriend gaan eten bij Taverne De Wouwer en dat draaide uit op een feestje voor de smaakpapillen. Ik had gekozen voor hertensteak met rode kool en kroketjes. De hertensteak was voortreffelijk gebakken. Mooi bruin van buiten en rozerood van binnen; mals en sappig zonder te "bloeden". Ook de kroketjes en de groenten waren prima in orde. Als achteraf had ik hoeve-ijs en ook dat was héél lekker! De bediening is zonder meer vriendelijk en de kaart is heel duidelijk (allergenen). Stilletjes romantisch dineren kan je beter elders doen want daarvoor is het te druk en is er teveel geroezemoes. Dit laatste is misschien storend voor sommigen, maar dit kan je nu eenmaal verwachten in een informele zaak. Mij stoorde het niet, ik vond het er gezellig en bovenal lekker!
