When you enter this restaurant, you step back to the 60'.The decoration gives you a fantastic experience, with old books, TV's and all sorts of vintage machines.The service is quick and very friendly. We can recommend the spareribs, they are delicious. Certainly a place to recommend

I ate here both nights while staying here, and ate breakfast here as well. The restaurant atmosphere is comfortable and easy-going. The menu has a fairly wide range of options. I found the portions here to be quite large, and entrees included a salad, fries, and stewed rhubarb as well. This made for quite the feast, so much so that I was too full to order dessert. Everything I tried was well-prepared and delicious.Service was a bit on the slow side, but I expect that given how busy they were. On the plus side I never felt rushed.

Although the ice cream parlor is not extremely special (nor good nor bad), they serve something remarkable: Frisian sugarbread flavored ice cream. If you're not into the typical Frisian specialty of sugarbread (which is white bread with lumps of crystallized sugar and cinnamon), don't be bothered. If you like it, then you'll love this!. Treat yourself on 2-scoops corn of the stuff and drift away on your (literally) sweetest dreams.

Doorsnee Fries dorpje aan het water. Het heeft een aantal winkels en enkele restaurants/ cafe's en uiteraard een prachtige jachthaven. Wel centraal gelegen in de Provincie Friesland.

We had lunch here, which was OK. I had a salad with Frisian cheese, that was quite good! Service was a tad unfriendly. Apart from that I have no complaints!
