Stopped by on a Friday afternoon with two retired ex colleagues. As it happened their own cask beer price was reduced due to happy hour all afternoon till 7. Beer was in top condition, prefered the taste of the 4.2% pale. The brewing coppers at the front and the smell of the brewing process adds to a nice experience. Advertised is a day with the brewer, includes breakfast and lunch, tastings and a take home keg at the end of the day. Great value at £85. Altogether a great place for a catch up with friends Thanks for the 5* review! Say hello to our brewer Andy next time you're in and get some samples of everything he does, his beer is great and we love having him show it off.Team B&K

We visited about 7pm on a Sunday evening and had a wonderful meal. The mussels and beef bourginon that I had and the cheese soufflé and duck my husband had was all fabulous. The service was great and the team even put the radiator on for me when I requested it as I hadn’t dressed in a jumper (despite knowing better!) Always lovely and a great place. Highly recommended. Thank you Alison for the lovely review! It is most appreciated! We look forward to seeing you soon to enjoy our warming Autumn Menu!

Stopped off for a quick drink after work and ended up stopping for a meal. As it was rubbish weather for June we chose sausage, mash and garden peas.Warm welcome on arrival and friendly, attentive service during our whole stay. Husband was disappointed to hear that they’d run out of Yorkshire pudding bases (7pm on a Friday night), but the meals were lovely in generous portions, with plenty of gravy.Claire looked after us, checking we were OK and very friendly. Hope she has a fab holiday! Such a shame that the loos look like they need a good dose of bleach down them Probably quite clean, just looked grubby with black stains down the loo I used. Dogs are allowed so I got to fuss over a beautiful friendly black Labrador!Hi WendyThank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. I am happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit to us. I will pass your comments onto Clair when she returns from her holidays. We look forward to welcoming you on your next visit to the UnicornJoanna HarrisGeneral Manager

Arrived at 7:30 for a meal, expecting restaurant to be busy but it was virtually empty.Provided with lots of choice from several menus but used main one as had free starter or dessert voucher.Tried the lamp pie (not really pie but puff pastry on top of dish of meat) which was very hot, tasty and very tender meat. Chips were nice but not sure of the veg as it was broccoli, peas and carrots wrapped in cabbage (would have preferred separate). My wife indicated the lasagne was very nice and quite filling.Sticky toffee pudding was very nice with juicy sultanas that was unusual. Would have been nice to have a little more ice cream. Creme Brulee was also very nice.Plenty of choice for drinks but no indication of prices other than for wine.Overall a very pleasant meal so likely to returnHi Michael N, great to hear you enjoyed your visit to our pub. Hope to see you again soon! We hope to be of service to you again in the future. Best wishes, Bulls Head Wilmslow

When you're meeting after work on a Monday, Revolution definitely is the place to go.There's a good choice of tables, including booths and we sat away from the crowd in a room at the back of the restaurant. Comfy chairs, pleasant atmosphere.Half price on most of the menu and we both had fish and chips. Mine was fine, I thought the fish was good although the batter wasn't crispy, not really an issue for me.My friend really didn't enjoy his at all. Worst he'd had, tasteless fish he said. Tbh his didn't look as good as mine!Anyway this is my opinion so 4 circles.Hi RazzyBthefirst. We're happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit to Revolution! Excellent choice with the fish and chips, it is a guest favorite and mine too! We're sorry to hear that your friend didn't enjoy their meal, we will definitely be looking into this.Did you know it's not only Monday's that we have great deals, if you download the Revs App you can get deals all throughout the week too!!Many Thanks.Luke Jordan.Trainee Assistant Manager.

I can not get enough of this restaurant. The food is lovely, the service is impeccable and the atmosphere is excellent. Wilmslow is incredibly lucky to have a restaurant serving food at this quality at this price. Everything is incredibly tasty and fromMy experience no dishes disappointed. I loved the lamb and the chicken thighs. The eclectic menu choice offered us a dinning experience that I’d never have the time to replicate or execute at home and that’s what I want from a restaurant. I can’t recommend highly enough. What a joy this place is to visit. Didn't know what to expect going for a Sunday lunch at a Prison. The building which is a chapel is very unique. Open from 12-2pm for Sunday Lunch. Upon entering, you'd never think this was run by female inmate. It was so professional, extremely clean and very well laid out. It really was like going to a fine dining restaurant. The atmosphere felt great and the staff were extremely pleasant, happy and helpful. Don't be afraid to have a look around to enjoy the paintings and read the poems etched on the frosted glass, reading the thank you cards from ex-prisoners and happy customers bought a tear to my eye. The very friendly manager was happy to explain everything to me about the restaurant and the prisoners. Didn't wait long for the meal...Oh my...the presentation was amazing. The tastes and flavour were exquisite. All very hot. Obviously, we had to have dessert which was also divine. We will definitely be back. It was all value for money. Oh, we purchased 'The Clink' tea towel. Thank you all very much for your great hospitality and wonderful cooking. You are all an inspiration.
