Great selection of gin! Really welcoming. The drinks are served with love & care with quality tonic it beats all of the other pubs in Reigate hands down!! Amazing pizzas & lovely platters. Thereâs no issue with the dog or landlord those comments are not representative or fair which is why Iâm writing this review as honestly the pub is awesome & if only there were more like this one!

We visited for the second time and werenât disappointed. The menu was wide and varied and the waitress was friendly, professional and attentive without being over bearing. There was a good atmosphere and the pub was constantly busy but we didât feel rushed and after 3 hours we were politely asked to move to the bar, as our table was needed. We didnât mind at all and when we left at 5pm the pub was still packed. Would recommend a visit.

The last time I used this restaurant was 8 years ago and the food was good, but when I tried to book for another time they would not take the midday booking because we wanted to take our grand daughter. ( no children aloud). This Time we were invited there a a Father's Day treat and I was pleasantly surprised by the quick and warm reception, and escorted to our table with a drinks order quickly taken. We ordered our food which was delivered speedily and the full meal was succulent, tasty , and bloody good. The only thing that I thought was wrong was bring served unshelled prawns, but nowhere to put the waste and not a finger bowl to rinse fingers. Pity. I would also suggest that salads with main courses are readily available separately for low carb users. Will be back again. Worth a visit.

Pro: The gluten free fish and chips were excellent! The chips were crispy but not dry. We really loved the curry sauce to dip our chips in as well. They even had gluten free malt vinegar. Loved the food, can't stress that enough!Con: Their hours posted on their website said they were open until 10pm. We arrived shortly after 9pm and were surprised when they told us we couldn't sit in the restaurant to eat our food. Apparently they only do "takeaway" during certain hours? This would have been nice to know, since we took a taxi 20 minutes to get there, expecting to be able to sit down and eat. The 3 people serving us gave us the impression they were the owners (2 sons and a mom maybe?) but they gave us blank stares when we asked where we should eat our food so we could enjoy it hot. The entire restaurant was empty at this point, so not sure why it would have been so much trouble for us to sit down? They finally suggested we could sit out front (in the dark) on the u-shaped bench. We took our food outside, opened the takeout containers to start eating while balancing everything on our laps, but only a few bites into our food, the store lights mysteriously got switched off, and we were in total darkness. We took the hint, packed everything back up, and got an Uber back to our hotel where we ate the semi-warm food. I'm sure it would have tasted even better, had it been hot.In sum: Delicious food; crappy service.

I went here for lunch with friends and two people ordered beef stroganoff. It was like old shoe leather!! One kept it for her dog, the other left it. They only took one off the bill. Mine was steak frite, and again, rather tough. Good chips! Dull and uninteresting salad. There's far better places around. Pity, as it's a nice place.

I visited here for lunch while having a Daddy/daughter day with my youngest. An absolute gem of a place, friendly and welcoming staff and the food was excellent, piping hot and very tasty.The pub itself if a proper old English pub, nestled down a dirt road in the middle of the common, a lovely peaceful setting.Wouldn't hesitate to return.Dear Tony,It's not very often that daughters allow their dads to take them out (or is that just because I'm an embarrassment to ours??), so well done to you for succeeding and especially, for finding the time to write a review to share your success!We are so glad that the "Skim" ticked all the right boxes and we hope that your daughter enjoyed herself as much as you? Salted beef Hash! Is incredible and perfect lunch in a great little cafe thatâs busy but without the hustle and bustle. Somehow, you walk through the door and feel chilled and relaxed. A massive menu of sandwiches, wraps, paninis etc. Great tea, great coffee and very polite and helpful staff!Iâd say if ya in the area, absolutely pop in and have a drink and you see what I mean. Wow! Fabulous choice chosen by good friends for a mid week dinner catch up. Delightful english country pub next to the cricket green with glorious sunsets from lovely outside seating area.
