This is a place that exist maybe 50 years , if not more , and is so traditional that people come really from far away to have the big ^pastel^ ( do not confound with the Portuguese or Austrian or French product with the same name ) . This is not sweet , but full of whatever you my want or think ! Meat , many kinds of cheese , vegetarian , vegan and so for .....

Great food with very fresh ingredients and lovely staff.A bit too expensive but for the level of the restaurant it is understandable as it it one of the top in the area.Will definitely go back as we did not have much time to have a full meal and I am already tempted to try more fresh fish...

We went there for dinner, and it was my bad luck evening. The waiter advised me to have one "caipirinha" made of pineapple and ginger, what was my surprise when it arrives and I realized that there was something dark green on it... I said to the waiter that it couldn´t be mine. But he answered that I had ordered a detox one... Actually, the waiter had forgotten to inform that this one was made with "rucula" greenery also. I tried it and it was terrible, very bitter, because of the greenery. For the main dish, I ordered the "Beef with green sauce". The waiter also forgot to ask me for the point of the meat, and when it arrived was very well done, and I like it underdone to the point... Well, the green sauce was cold, made of mayonnaise or milk cream, I am not sure. Anyway, I don´t like hot beef with cold sauce, and, as usually, I was not informed that this sauce was cold. Besides all these problems, most of the items in the menu have only the name of the dish, not its explanation. Fizzy water? They serve only French Perrier, which is very expensive. The wine menu has no more than 3 or 4 options under R$100. Therefore, we didn´t dare to ask for a dessert, we rather have an ice cream at the mall. Finally, this is not a cost-effective restaurant, because the prices are too high for the service and food provided there.

The food was good but the service was terrible. We waited more than an hour for the food and the waiters were slow to accomplish our requests. It was very full as it is one of the few restaurant options in Riviera. The space is nice and has live music, which we found a little too loud.Olá Lara, bom dia!Agradecemos seus elogios aos nossos pratos e também por ter escolhido o Jangada. Sobre seus apontamentos, eles foram encaminhados à gerência para que o atendimento nesta unidade, recém inaugurada em Bertioga, seja excelente como prezamos sempre em todas as casas. We were on our way back from Maresias after holidays. We found the restaurant on tripadvisor, half way of our trip and since it had good reviews stopped over. It was easy to overlook on the left side of the bussy road (when driving back to SP and had to make a retorno. It was worth it. Very nice family, Thobias, the cook made a fantastic fish dish, with white fish, tomatos, schrimps and very nice rice. The place looks very simple, but the food was amazing, the owners very friendly. I would strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling along the coast from Guaruja to Paraty. Also very cheap.
