Traveling by motorcycles to California with my son. We were looking forward to lunch at Wood Ranch because of previous visits. We were not disappointed. We both had tri-tip. I had a garden salad and baked beans. Everything was delicious! Our server was very friendly and prompt. We never ran out of fresh strong iced tea. I will definitely stop here again when traveling through Ventura.

The pulled pork sandwich and the garlic mashed potatoes are the best that I have ever had. The service was a bit slow on the upstart, but once I moved to the bar stool, the service improved. I had a nice conversation with the bar tender. They have a selection of drinks with bourbon and gin as their specialties. So if you are looking for some tasty pulled pork, come on by.

Look for the giant rooster on top of the place. It's located in a mall full of car repair places off the 101 freeway. I had a great tri-tip sandwich with some really great honey barbecue sauce! The barbecue chicken is also worth eating.Definitely will be back soon.
