The first time I encountered a dishonest restaurant in Castellamarre!They welcomed us with nice words and suggested to have the fish of the day. In the menue the prices where reasonable and it was Ok for us( a range of 15-20).We asked for only one dorade, a middle range price fish. It everywhere is in the range of less than 20 per fish. For two people we asked for one fish!Finally the charged us 60 euro!The most expensive fish I ever had in Italy.They didnât put any info about the weight of the fish and served a medium size fish, definitely didnât worth the price( though the quality was good). I felt bad about their dishonesty!Such a scam!HelloThank you for being in our restaurant.We are sorry that you feel cheated, but it was not like that at all.the fish we buy are from the sea near our restaurant and do not cost what she says, the fish she says are raised in tanks and cost much less, but they don't taste the same.in fact it was just her to write he was of blond quality.the price of the fish is written on the menu and is the same for all the types of fish that are on the menu.his weighed 1.080 gramsso 1,180 grams for ⬠5 the total is ⬠59.then the price includes 2 contours that you have chosen.

We had a wonderful, super delicious Italian dinner! We ordered mussels au gratin and involtini of aubergine, tomatoes and mozzarella as starters. Then we had homemade (!) pasta with swordfish and aubergine and tagliata with tomatoes and parmesan cheese with a side salad as main course. For dessert we had milles feuilles with panna and cherries... omg! On top we had red house wine - totally ok - sparkling water and café and paid about 50⬠for two persons! Unbelievable! The service is super friendly and speaks English. Good to know: they only serve pizza Fridays and Saturdays!

Dinner at Villa Palmentiello was an unforgettable experience. The first words of appreciation go to the Maître de Salle. Kind, friendly and knowledgeable! Well beyond knowledge. Putting passion, pleasure, heart and soul into his métier. The food was fabulous, presented to the most accurate detail and, as the dishes would come to the table, the Maître de Salle would be there, explaining the dish and giving suggestions.The wine and many of the products used in the preparation of the meal were produced locally, at the property, as this is an "agriturismo". The supporting staff were very professional and efficient, attentive to our needs and committed to making the evening a very special occasion.The view is fantastic. Our thanks and congratulations to the Maître de Salle, the Chef and the supporting staff for this unforgettable evening. Highly recommended!

We found this restaurant on trip advisor and decided to walk there which was, admittedly, a trek up a steep hill to get there. When we arrived we were given a very warm weclome and shown to our table on the terrace with a view that was jaw-dropping in its scope and beauty that gives you a view of vesuvius and castellemare bay. perfect.We asked for the house wine, red, which was home made, smooth and so delicious.The antipasti was a food-gasm by itself with so much to sample and we chose a pasta main course which left us speechless and mopping the plates of any remaining sauce.Dessert was again home made with all fresh ingredients accompanied by a perfect digestive drink.The hospitality was absolutely and unexpectedly warm and friendly, and they allow you to have your meal in peace and at leisure, and the final cost was easily acceptable.I cannot believe that anyone would critisize this place for sheer quality and quantity of everything, and i have to say -there is nothing oily or greasy here at all whatsoever. We ate here twice already and we will be back again before our weeks holiday is finished. Outstanding restaurant in everyway. Well done
