I good location in the midst of the El Raso commercial area, so you do have a good selection for Pre dinner drinks.However the night we went it was busy and something about the number of staff working didnât work. Those who were working were busy and to be fair to them they were struggling to keep up. On top of this people who raised issues were rude to them. Whilst I see no excuse for people being rude to staff working hard I did understand peopleâs frustration.However what you canât take away was that the menu did represent the typical South American meat chose. There was a small selection for the non meat eaters but to say this is a meat lovers dream would be an understatement.The staff did have a good knowledge of the menu and when discussed although not keen they did make recommendations. The food was excellent and well presented, and whilst we had a wait nothing I havenât experienced in England. The meat selection was well cooked and really flavoursome.So it wasnât an issue for me, but I was with family and friends and even with a three year old.Was is worth the wait for me and the family it was. Was it value for money again it was and to my friends and family it was a really enjoyable meal. The selection of drinks was excellent and again reasonably priced.It is well worth a visit but as the song says Have a Little Patience

New year's Eve popped in for a quick drink but although the interior is looking better the atmosphere was not good the manager could barely raise his eyes to say hello.Prices seem to have gone up since they took over as well.We like this bar and it's position but they need to work on a better atmosphere more welcoming or I will use other bars insteadAfter reviewing this post we find the content to be inaccurate. Visited on the off chance we could be seated for supper while the Liverpool/Barcelona football game was on, and we got lucky. Chose the menu del dia for 17 Euros each and we were stunned by the sheer volume of beautifully presented, tasty and well cooked food. Starters were served on platters... More than enough for probably 6 or 8 people! We were given bread (a whole loaf!) with allioli, serrano ham with manchego cheese, a russian salad, a large mixed tuna/egg/anchovy/olive/carrot/lettuce salad then followed by our individual (also huge) mains and home made fabulous desserts and then coffee. The waitress was lovely and helpful, the ambience of the restaurant very authentically Spanish (a lovely change from the few other places which mainly cater forthe English) and all in all we were thoroughly delighted and considered this the BEST place ro eat in Daya Vieja! Highly recommended

After a number of visits this one was really disappointing. Having lost our booking despite us receiving two confirmation emails which we had on us, an apology would have been nice. Instead we felt as if we'd made the mistake ! There were long delays placing our order and between courses, surprising as the restaurant was not packed. The food was the most disappointing this time. It was extremely greasy, everything tasted deep fried, the chips were pale and limp, the whole thing when it eventually arrived was not up to their usual standard. Even when we were asked if everything was ok, when my partner started to say how disappointed he was, there was no apology, the plate was whisked away before he could finish his sentence ... Needless to say if that had been our first visit we would not be returning - guess we'll leave it a while before going again.

We visited as guests of a friend for a night of entertainment and a meal.The evening was over subscribed and although the entertainment was excellent the bar system left a lot to be desired. Whether this is the norm as the venue does put on major horse shows as entertainment but we had to attend an inadequately staffed bar to firstky pay cash for our "monopoly money" vouchers in order to.purchase.our drinks.Then when the undoubtedly wrong amount of vouchers have been purchased you are "paid" in "monopoly money" vouchers again as change..meaning you can only redeem them on site..similar to playing Bingo in Blackpool!!!The food was good and as I said our entertainment was 1st class it was just 0 bar that left a lot to be desired. Maybe that was down to numbers and the fact it was 99% british audience so frequent visits to.the bar were inevitable!!
