On a Thursday evening in October we tried this restaurant for dinner. The entrance is a little difficult to find. The door is in a small alley, about 5 meters from the street with the menu on the wall. It is next to another restaurant with a shop window, that was closed that Thursday evening. A good choice, as we can summarize. We could use an English menu with pictures (and prices seldom more than 1000 yen) which made it easier to choose. We chose two salads, a menu with different sorts of fish and fried potatoes with some vegetables as vegetarian meal with beer for a reasonable price. The lady who served us spoke some English. A special restaurant because of the decoration, full of flags and banners as a kind of room dividers between the tables. We also liked the music, all golden oldies from the 60s & 70s.Summarized, a restaurant to give it a try when you are in this village because of the food, decoration and music.

I visited this restaurant with friends and family and had a fantastic dinner of Aka-Ushi (Aso Beef) cooked over a hot plate at our table. The meat and farm-fresh vegetables were very tasty! The restaurant was very clean and had a nice view over the pond and surrounding farmland.
