Our server Eduardo was awesome! Very helpful and friendly, very accommodating and fast. The meal was served in normal speed but when we asked for extra condiments and a menu in English Eduardo brought it quickly and with a big smile. My burger was served on a friend plantain instead of a bun. I'm not gluten free but it would be a nice option for those who are. Everything was tasty and more than enough food for one if not two people.

Great little place if you are craving pizza in West End. Joe, the owner, will make sure you are taken care of. He has a great little oven that turns out awesome pizza for a great price. Plenty of cold local beer to wash it down with.

Marcos made our stay and visit to the bar the reason we returned. There are a lot of bars and restaurants on the beach but Marcos is here at the Thirsty Turtle ,as are other friendly bartenders, who treat you kindly and serve you good bar food. The food itself is mostly fried but the breakfasts are great and they have 2x1 drinks daily served with a smile! We had two small lobsters, two sides, and a well drink right overlooking the beach for $20. Lobster was a bit over cooked but good and service was fine. Fun people

We enjoyed the medium spicy red Thai shrimp curry which was mild and not very spicy and similar to a Panang curry. It came with steamed white rice and various vegetables that were crispy and very tasty. But if I went back, I would ask for a little more spicy.

We went diving with the dive company on the premises and had lunch here after the dive. We were told we could not use the facility or chairs, but was allowed to use the restaurant (of course...because they were getting more money out of us). The service was ok. A little slow to take our order or bring out our drinks despite not many people in the restaurant at the time we were there. I ordered the Grand Club Sandwich, which was ok but very expensive and my husband and daughter ordered a hamburger and chicken fingers, which they said was good. I was shocked that the chicken fingers only came with 2 fairly small pieces. We ended up having to ask for our bill so that we could leave. So service could have been a little quicker than what it was.Dear mitsugirly,Thank you for sharing your review. It will be taken into consideration and most definitely be worked on. Service and Food at the Iron Shore Bar and Grill usually exceeds customers expectations, so sorry we was not able reach you and your families expectations. We were very impressed with the service. We were immediately approached and walked through the menue. The server seemed to be very proud of working there. They gave to taste tequilla. When our kid needed a larger napkin, they quickly provided it. The plentiful food was served quickly, and it was very tasty - our kid left an empty plate.

I've been going to roatan for years. through the years you meet people - good people. i met harris as he works at fosters and the hideaway. i will always try to go by and give him business and say hello. he is a good kid, works hard, wants you to be HAPPY HAPPY HPPY while there. the owners have a good employe in him. must ask for him if he is there! he made everything better. the drinks here are great. I'm picky about my bloody marys and man this was a good one! also monkey la la is great here. definitely worth a few hours of drinking and swimming to stop in! you get a chair when you buy a drink. awesome!

What a great thing they have going here. Jeff was super friendly and easy going, he makes an amazing frozen mojito too! I loved swimming and snorkelling right there, the location is quiet and beautiful. The fresh lion fish was delicious! The ceviché was the best, and the fried fish was done perfectly. Iâm looking forward to coming back in November.
