I regularly go out to Vercelli with friends to watch the local football team, Pro Vercelli. This bar is the hub of the local supporter club Ghigni Bianchi - fans and locals mingle with no hassle or trouble. Really friendly atmosphere - locals always keen to embrace tourists visiting the city. Great mix of beers (including local brewery Birrificio Sant'Andrea) and wines - good selection of Aperitivo snacks and, should you be awake in time, coffee and cornetti. Though it really is about meeting up with local football fans, having a beer and watching the world go by.

Inizio a dire che la gentilezza dei proprietari, unita al relax del locale (sembra di mangiare a casa) meriterebbe di per sÃ© 5 stelle. La mia valuzione leggermente inferiore Ã¨ dovuta al fatto che mi aspettavo non ci fosse una carta con piatti "pre definiti", come la grigliata mista ad esempio...avrei preferito una "carta bianca" da comporre ma Ã¨ un limite davvero minimo!
