We hadn't had tapas since we were in Soain so Pio was our choice for an early dinner. We sat outside but under cover as it had been raining, the wait staff were very pleasant. My Sangria was great, and we ordered four tapas plates to share. They were well cooked and tasty and very enjoyable.

Nice service, people smoking allways. Good and well served beer. Smoking is allowed, warriors against nicotine should avoid

In line with an earlier experience at Bar Celona, the drinks are good and not too expensive. The atmosphere in the bar was good on the Friday night: lots of people, full bar. We had to wait for the bill almost 10 minutes and had to ask for it twice...

Iâve visited the restaurant a couple of time. This time we entered the spot short after 6pm. Too sad we had no reservation, the service personal at the entrance was not really friendly and service oriented. A short smashing âjoin the Bar for dinnerâ without any bigger effort, too sad. Another statement from them I am not publishing, cause itâs too offending. The food was good but missing the higher level of taste as it was used to have. For the amount of money you spend it should definitely improve.

We stopped in for dinner hoping to get some good German schnitzel and spargel (asparagus). We werenât disappointed. The portions were generous and the food was fresh and tasty. The asparagus was in season and served with thick creamy hollandaise sauce. My son ordered the âfitness saladâ and it was piled deep and high with vegetables and hearty cuts of white chicken. The service was quick and efficient. We felt like we got the real German experience in one of the most charming cities weâve yet to encounter.

After short guided tour in this re-opened brewery in a lovely building we tasted the offered beers. Almost all are very, very good (we liked the 'Kellerpils' and 'Pale Ale' most). After that we stayed for lunch and were surprised: We didn't expect such good food. The selection is a little bit limited to traditional and local food, but what to eat else in a local brewery?! Vegetarians will also find good options.Staff was friendly but seemed a bit unorganised when it became full (less waiters...). I am sure it's only a "childhood disease".Thanks for the feedback. We will work on the "childhood disease".

We were happy to find this huge bar and restaurant on Boettcherstrasse because it seemed to be one of the few places in the centre serving drinks after midnight on a Friday. We didnât try any of the food â it was too late to order anyway â there only was time to enjoy a draught Kölsch beer (Rhineland) before closing time at 0.30 a.m. We liked the rustic interior and the walls literally covered in interesting black and white political photographs and more colourful posters. The crowd in the bar seemed to be a mix of locals and tourists. The strange name of the place, Staendige Vertretung (âPermanent Representation), refers to the Permanent Representation of West Germany in the German Democratic Republic (GDR), which existed from 1974 until the reunification of Germany in 1990.

Where New York's Meatpacking District meets modern Bremen lifestyle. The L.O.B.B.Y. is the new place for laid-back savoir-vivre and great food. Inspired by the American tradition of steaks and burgers, we offer authentic, produce-based cuisine with a 'twi
Because we spent more time than expected at the interesting Paula Modersohn-Becker and Ludwig Roselius museums in Boetcherstrasse it was half past three before we had time to grab some lunch. Whatâs more, it was raining, so we didnât feel like walking too far. The restaurant of the Radisson Blu Hotel in Boettcherstrasse was just what we were looking for. The Lobby is located in a large but atmospheric atrium. Given the time of the day, we almost had the place to ourselves. We were served a decent fish and chips. Service was swift and very friendly. Note that the entrance of The Lobby is around the corner of Boetcherstrasse, at Wachtstrasse 2.

Schüttinger: Very welcoming large brewery/pub/restaurant that, to our surprise, also offers veggie dishes. We could taste their Helles and their Rotbier. We decided for the red beer, well brewed, fine bitter. During the daily happy hour the price for a 400 ml jug is only ⬠2.50. Wow.French fries and veggie burger are fine. Recommended, but be aware that a full pub is possible, So a reservation might be appropriate. There is also an entrance at the Böttcherstrasse.

Great meal with a good choice of local beer. We chose the Pork Crispy Knuckle -excellent and the schnitzel also very good. Situated alongside the river really enjoyed the food. I have seen some comments that refer this to very good pub food, the presentation I would agree but the quality is excellent.Thank you very much for your visit and the great rating!
