I always eat at Jim and Nicks when I’m in the are. Always generous portions and friendly service. This visit, there wasn’t a greeter. All the servers appeared rushed and stressed. (It was one hour before closing). I had the hot links, turkey and brisket. The hot links were great as always. But the turkey was really dry and the brisket was fatty. I’m chalking it up to being close to closing and I’ll still come back. The collard greens and Mac and cheese was fantastic!

Toot's Restaurant

We were travelling to Indiana and saw a sign for Toot's and remembered it on the way back home and stopped in for lunch. I think we've found a new regular stop when we're travelling through. First, the prices can't be beat, especially considering the portion size. My wife and I both got Hot Buffalo Tenders and curly fries. The tenders were delicious, not too hot, but just enough of a kick. The curly fries were great as well. The portion size was huge and it only cost $4.99/plate, you can't beat it. My son had the corn dog bites kids meal with onion rings. I tried one of his onion rings and it was amazing. On top of the food, the service was great and I also love how kid friendly it is with several games to play while waiting for the food to come out. We definitely will be back on our next trip.

Chili's Grill & Bar

This place moves at a snails pace. Some of the food was what I consider average and some was just bad. The service was just too slow and it seemed like they just didn't know how to run a restaurant. I had to ask for my check after sitting there 15 minutes with no waitress in sight.

Okay we use to come here every week but quit about 4 months ago. So wife and I thought okay let’s try it again maybe it has gotten better. Big we’re we wrong. The atmosphere is bland like the food. Only positive thing I can say is they have cold beer and serve it in glass mugs. Sorry it will probably be another 4 months before we come back. Also do they have a manager that works Saturday afternoons? We were there for almost 1.5 hours and never once seen a manager. Oh well. We're sorry to hear that your experience wasn't the best, and we will be looking into this for you. Please give us a call at 1-844-6LOGANS, so we can follow up with your concerns. Thanks.

Okay,I struggled with my rating on this one. I hate cigarette smoke. I really hate cigarette smoke...really, really hate it. It is a bar and it is not well ventilated. There are darts, pool tables and country music. There are not too many places in Smyrna to do this and feel pretty safe. In spike of the smoke, it was a pretty friendly place. They have live music which was actually a good band. It was country complete with steel guitar. Now for the grille part. We ordered a pepperjack burger and a classic American burger. They come with fries. The burger was very good. The buns were fresh, the patty cooked perfectly. The tomato was actually red and flavorful. The french fries were my favorite part. They were thin, fresh cut and what french fries should be. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. The waitress was also tending bar so don't sit back and wait for her to notice if you need something. We will definitely go back. The food was that good. I may have to get it to go and eat it in my car, but I am going to have to have those fries again very soon.
