Stopped here for a meal, sat outside as the weather lovely, a lovely atmosphere, We had the steak and chips, cooked to perfection, the chips arrived in a little metal chip pan, also it came with salad, thought the salad could have had a bit more of a wash. Not a lot of choice of draught beers but had ruby leffe which was beautifully chilled. This wonderful, 'sympatheque' bistro is a real jewel! I had lunch there recently with a business friend who knows it well. Everything is outstanding here, the three course lunch formula, and although I'm not a great beer drinker, they have a very good selection indeed.The service is irreproachable and I had a nice chat with the owner about local accommodation as, unfortunately, this restaurant does not have rooms. But I'll be back anyway!

taken here by my French friends who do like quality food. A very interesting place. It is mainly downstairs, it has an extensive beer menu (remember you are in the beer drinking part of France) and an extensive whiskey menu!The food is not too expensive, despite other comments on TA, especially for the size of the portions. There are also many regional specialities.If you are in the area use it. Closed Sunday
