There is so much to say but I will never be able to find enough words to convey how much we LOVED Rip Jack Inn and their restaurant. We ate 85% of our meals here (the other 15% was when we were exploring) and never once had a bad meal. We were able to try almost every dinner option. My favorite was the Mahi Mahi and my boyfriends favorite was the Hot Garlic Shrimp. Everything is SO fresh. So tasty. And the combinations are incredible. It not only has the best food we experienced during our trip but it also has the best waiters. We became very close with Ermesto and Manrique...so much that we were greeted by our first names after the second day of being there. And Ermesto shared his NCAA bracket with us, all chuckling about our choices. We literally wanted to bring Ermesto back to the states with us. He's the best. They both knew what we wanted to drink before we even ordered. It became our home for the week and they all made us feel like family. It will be VERY hard to travel to Costa Rica again and not stay at Rip Jack. We feel like we would never have as good of an experience as we had there. Hats off to all the cooks/bartenders and servers. You were all amazing. But Ermesto and Manrique were definitely very special to us. Eat here. Stay here. Love it here, like we did.Yeah! We will pass this on to Ernesto, Manrique and the rest of the team. We came to dinner at Scooters. If you are staying in playa flamingo, you should definitely check it out. It is a great location in downtown flamingo so it is easy to walk to, and has a wonderful ambiance with a pool, bar and TVs. (Not far from Margaritaville)Itâs perfect for families or couples. The menu had tacos, burgers, bbq, wings, salads, and sandwiches. We ordered the BLT with avocado, salad and fries. All our food was delicious! They also have great beer on tap -some IPAs and service was excellent. Iâd highly recommend! Thank you so much for this great review. Just getting started down there, we appreciate all the feedback we can get!

The staff are friendly, the ceviche is delicious and the full bar can't be beat. As the place falls apart - the view of the ocean is incredible. Our kids (two girls) found stuff on the menu they liked, we had the ceviche, the guac and chips and a few drinks. Bring cash - no cc accepted - prices are reasonable and the view can't be beat!

During our stay in Brasilito, we went to Tiki's two or three times because it was walking distance from our hotel, has a beach view, but mostly because there is a nice playground there for the kids. The food is good / average. Drinks are fine. Unfortunately, the main (and busy!) highway is between the restaurant and the beach, so the beach view is not the greatest.

First and foremost, I would like to thank Jennifer and the other young lady at the Front Desk. We owe her and the entire hotel staff extreme debt of gratitude. My partner and I were staying at a local, all inclusive, paid in full week-long resort down the road. We were having such a horrible experience we decided to check out of the resort early. To make the story short, (review in this case) we ended up here and everyone was so delightful and nice. The cleanliness of the hotel and service were great, attentive. The bartenders are very nice at the restaurant and bar, especially in the mornings.I was sitting at the bar one evening and noticed how disrespectful most of the american tourists were. However, I did also notice the bartenders at night are completely different and know how to handle the crowd.Overall, I respected the fact that when you check-in the first thing they tell you is ***caution Friday's there's ladies night***

We took the family out to dinner and had a great meal at a good price. Everyone got something different and we all shared. The pizza was wonderful, the nachos were piled with meat, the fish was delicious and the drinks topped it all off.

This place ended up being our go to spot. The staff are amazingly nice. To add to the wonderful employees, there is a mix of local regulars that are willing to chat and give you tips on your stay. But the food!!! A nice varity of food done with quality.

This is my first TripAdvisor review ever which says a lot about the calibre of food and service you'll get at El Castillo's. My husband and I visited twice for dinner during our stay in Costa Rica. There are many great places to dine in the area but El Castillo's food was so delicious and thoughtfully crafted that we visited twice, despite our general rule to never visit the same place twice. The first time we visited I ordered the mushroom burger that had a beautiful port sauce and my husband ordered the Timmy sandwich. Both were delicious. Tonight we went for the rib dinner -- a Friday special -- and it was out of this world. We were stuffed but couldn't refuse an order of the Snickers cheesecake that was just sublime and I'm not someone who has a sweet tooth. Everything is homemade and delicious. The owner and staff are attentive and the food is out of this world. Do yourself a favor and visit El Castillo.. you will not regret it!

We drove the golf cart from Playa Flamingo and had dinner at The Beach House. Nice little 10 minute drive. The restaurant is small and the tables overlook the beach. Nice variety on the menu from fresh seafood to fried baskets to burgers, and everything we ordered tasted great. Watermelon mojito was yummy!

I was really surprised at the quality of this place. But first things first. The restaurant is located inside a gated community on top of the hill or mountain, whatever you want to call it. The restaurant is open concept with fully open walls situated next to the infinity pool, which when it's light provides breathtaking views.But that is not the only one selling point for the restaurant. The place has a bar which is a great thing when you're in the pool. But the food is also amazing. I don't know how the other dishes are but the seafood and steak that we had ordered were amazing. The place wasn't packed but it was definitely busy. It always seems to be busy but it closes pretty early by New York standards but by Costa Rican it seems to be pretty normal.
