Very good, fairly priced food and great service—and in the theater district, yet. If you are a couple or a foursome, you can walk right in—plenty of tables. We had traditional Irish meals, but the guacamole was excellent, and I’m sure the Mexican fare was, as well. Our Irish waitress was adorable and attentive.

Loved the old school ambiance, superb pianist, and great service. We had two rounds of cocktails - you get your money's worth on the martinis. Another well-priced item (for NYC) was the raw oysters. The snacks they bring to the table are potato chips, nut mix, and cheese crackers, which are crazy good.

As residents of The Roxy hotel we ate both dinner & breakfast at the Roxy Lounge. Dinner was lovely - i ate hummus & vegetable crudités & had several of the Roxy cocktail. Breakfast - bagels & cream cheese were divine!! The atmosphere in the Lounge is wonderful - there is always music - either live pianist, jazz group or a singer.Such a great place. Highly recommended.

We’ve enjoyed this place on our last 2 visits to NYC. Of course the steaks are superb but perhaps surprisingly for a “steak house” so is the seafood. Waitstaff was very professional, helpful with the ordering process, and offered the perfect level of attention. On this latest visit we were very happy with chateaubriand for 2 but noticed the table next to us was enjoying wonderful looking seafood. Conveniently located a few blocks from Times Square. Dear Charles,We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for visiting our establishment and sharing your dining experience. It is a true delight to hear your high praise. Here at Empire Steak House, our guests receive the outmost attention they deserve. We are glad to hear the Chateaubriand was up to your liking. We take pride in the way we prepare and serve food, and steak has always been our specialty. Thank you for your note on the seafood, as we make sure it is always the freshest available from some of the best seafood purveyors in the city, so thank you for appreciating what we do best here.
