Excellent mountain café with a good choice of food/drinks. Easy to reach by chairlift or a reasonable uphill walk from Bertoldi. Highly recommend.

We travelled with a group of 6 adults to ski in Lavarone. From our very first chair lift, it brought us to this wonderful bar/restaurant. We would call in for a coffee in the morning and then take to the slopes for the day. We called into several different bars/restaurants throughout the resorts but none compared to Baita del Neff. Getting our last chair lift around 4pm we would call into Baita del Neff before heading down to our hotel. They have the best beer in the resort. Both Flavio and Max are the friendliest staff/hosts we ever came across. On arrival each evening they brought us endless baskets of fresh bread and different hams/salami. They gave us free shots and half beers to thank us for our loyalty to them. They just enjoyed making you feel comfortable. Money did not appear to be their focus, but rather to ensure you had the best experience possible. They didn't understand getting a tip. When leaving we often gave them â¬5/â¬10 as a tip but they would quickly give us a bottle of champagne. Max offered to bring us to Trento one night if that would have been of interest to us!Food is supposed to be excellent. We were tied to eat elsewhere each day but it certainly looked delicious. Midday the place was full of families with young children enjoying the food!I can not speak highly enough of their hospitality. When sitting around the bar you simply felt at home. I hope to return one day to see the boys. Wonderful bar and definitely worth calling to. A must see.

We had dinner here with 6 adults and one small child (2 years old). I specifically asked when ordering to bring the pasta for my son at the same time as the pizza's, but it arrived very soon after that, way before the pizza's. The friendly staff apologised, took back the pasta, and brought it back again with the pizza's, however by then it was completely overcooked, not used to this in Italy... Apart from that the pizza's were nice. Playground is nice when you go there with kids, but be aware it is not right next to the terrace, so if your kids are still small like mine, you are likely to spend half the night at the playground while your pizza is getting cold at the table. Plenty of parking available.

The pizza is the best in the area, the service is fast, the owner and staff are all friendly and know their job, the home made ice cream is a bonus.

This Rifugio is perfect from top to bottom. Starting with the owner, the food, the ambiente,... â just perfect and so friendly.I can only recommend to have a stop there and spend some time. Quality time guaranteed!
