We had just arrived at the adjacent Mercure Hotel and had read the very good reviews of the bistro, so, against my normal prejudices regarding restaurants attached to big chain hotels, we gave it a try. From the aperitif to the end of dinner coffee, the meal was superb. Lots of choice on the menu and mainly traditional and locally-sourced food. The oysters were first rate, as were the duck breast and soupe de poisson. The only disappointment was the amount of fat (over two inches thick) on a pork chop, leaving little meat. The serving staff were friendly and efficient and we ended up having a relaxing and delicious meal, in a pleasant setting. Recommended.

We had an outstanding night with outstanding service. Only down side is, we go home in a couple of days and wished we'd found it earlier.We arrived and we're warmly welcomed, they spoke fantastic English and even offered us an English menu. We found the food to be of great quality and ample size portions. Escargot were amazing as was the steak with Foie Gras. Pudding were the perfect finishing touch. Lots and lots of choices on the menu, both on food and wine. We would go back again, (in fact) we may have to squeeze in another visit before going home.

This restaurant in downtown la roche sur yon was the dining establishment that our conference chose to eat at as we were numerous and their upper level could accommodate us.The waitresses seemed very confused and lost concerning some orders and did not really seem to understand what was going on.The food was very well presented (I forgot to take pictures except for the dessert) but well presented and quite tasty. As a group we had a menu with 2 options each for starter, main course and dessert... I had the melon with ham, duck confit and the exotic macaron and it was all very tasty.

Une fin de soirée entre amis dans ce bar qui est tout nouveau sur La Roche.La déco est moderne et est en accord avec le thème lounge. Il y a un étage avec fauteuils et banquettes.Bon choix de cocktails avec alcool mais peu sans alcool.Il y avait un seul choix de thé et lorsque j'ai voulu en commander, la serveuse m'a dit qu'il n'y en avait plus... Dommage pour un établissement nouvellement ouvert où les produits présentés sur la carte devraient tous être disponibles.Il y avait un pianiste qui mettait un peu d'ambiance
