Heber City was founded by English immigrants who were members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the late 1850s, and is named after the Mormon apostle Heber C. Kimball. It is the county seat of Wasatch County. The original Heber City town square is located on the west side of Main Street between Center Street and 100 North and currently houses city offices as well as the historic Wasatch Stake Tabernacle and Heber Amusement Hall. The city was largely pastoral, focusing largely on dairy farms and cattle ranching, and has since become a bedroom community for Orem, Provo, Park City and Salt Lake City.

We had dinner on a Friday night in October. My husband had the Back 40 tacos made with salmon, pineapple and mango. I had the beet salad with salmon. We also ordered the cucumber mint kombucha. Everything was delicious. The Back 40 was recently renovated. Apparently it is a very old building. They took great care to renovate, using recycled products and innovation! It is very nice and apparently very popular. There was an hour wait for those who got there after 6:30. We loved our meal at the Back 40!

Great place to meet up with family and friends.The staff is very friendly and the service is excellentTried various menu items, since there was a group gathering and food was prepared quickly and was very tasty.I would highly recommend this bar/ restaurant as a must visit.

Heber Citys one and only Bar & Grill. Live music and entertainment, 6 Big screen Tv's ,NFL Sunday Ticket, pool tables, horse shoes & games. Delicious Cocktails and Food!

We stopped by for lunch following reading reviews and a recommendation by some others. There are lots of choices on their menue listed on a chalk board when you enter. You must order before being seated. There are unlimited chips and salsa and sauces to choose from which were pretty good. The food was delivered quickly but was not hot and honestly not very flavorful. My daughter who loves enchiladas was the most disappointed. Service was okay. I was a bit suprised at the amount of waste produced from all of the plastic containers used.Hello MNBonefish, Sorry to hear you had a bad experience at whatever restaurant you were at. Your review seems to be posted on the wrong restaurant. We are a Bar & Grill 21+ come visit us sometime!! :)
