This is a tasteful, fabulous bar with all the :high end" accoutrements! There are very sumptuous, comfortable couches. The selection and quality of the cognacs, scotches etc is probably as good as it gets in Guangzhou. If one likes the best imported cigars and hand made chocolates--- just ask!! There is also music-- piano and a singer. The ambience and the well trained staff round out the offerings!I hope that this Review has been helpful!!. We are fairly regular customers at 13Factories and we have never been disappointed with the food. Although the service at times gets a bit slacky but expected as the place gets rather crowded on Sundays, thus the Kitchen gets a bit of an order back log. So no real worry as such.... Its best not to rush your food order, so we actually don't mind the wait. We are usually busy chatting and sipping the lovely freshly made Mimosas and Bacon Bloody Marys... you must oder the 2 hour free flow when you are there next, you'll love it.I love the Shimpy Bastard and the Cajun Style food, including their fries and burgers... the quality of the ingredients and the food is really top notch and quite a pleasant change from the usual. I'm sure you wont be disappointed, so if you haven't eaten here, you are missing out big time! The food looks and tastes good.... so feel free to order whatever you like. Their coffees and beers on Tap are awesome.... I particularly loved the Brooklyn On Tap.I'm sure we'll be back here soon for another gastronomic treat ! Bon Appetite.... ciao

I had a business meeting at the SiJi Hotel aka Four Seasons and it was great. The views from the lobby lounge cafe offers amazing sights of the city on a clear day. The coffee is great and so were the quality of the assorted snacks we ordered for tea. Best to sit near the main lounge and find a quieter window seat overlooking the pearl river.Iâll surely be back once the weather clears up a bit.

I just had a dinner in the Happy Monk at the Party Pier. Excellent and best service. The food was not too much (as so often in western Restaurants), but quality and the price was very good. Congratulation to Jeremy and his staff how they do such a good job.

Day 1 - I cannot explain my delightment of having macher jhol with steamed rice after having local cantonese food in macau and Hong kong for last 5 days. The macher jhol was prepared typically in bong style and i wud recommend all bongs visiting Guangzhou to must taste the cauliflower added macher jhol. As a Mumbaikar the goan fish curry is also available in their menu. Day 2 - Tandoor chicken, ice cube chicken tikka, masala papad, butter chicken and tandoori roti- taste was very good.Recommend all Non Veg Indians to visit this place. I saw Charlie's by chance when my friend Gurpreet and I was walking to another restaurant nearby. We decided to go thru the menu and we were very lucky to have some pork ribs which was not listed on the menu.We tried some fresh salad and the pork ribs ,it was by far the best ribs I have tasted on this side of Asia. Unfortunately now the outdoor tables and chairs are moved away, but its always a great pleasure to get a seat here. Even staff recognizing you as regular customer, when you visiting once in 2 months. Very good English level of all staffs, nice dishes - from easy snacks as well reasonable lunch sets and one of the best Whiskey sour in town...
