This is a good restaurant with the most amazing sunset location. It has a good selection of Indian and Goa food. What letâs it down slight is the service levels. Lots of staff mulling around. However definitely visit at sunset as itâs licensed restaurant for sundowners and then food starts at 7!

WOW! Who would have thought that Poolside snacks could be so incredible... The Food here is exceptional and great value for money and we actually ate most of our Lunches AND Dinners thereTry the Spring Rolls, Phad Thai, Vegatarian Pizza, Calamari and pretty much everything else on the MenuThe Staff felt like Family and they even brought my little Son a Complimemtary Chicken Phad Thai at the pool as they knew it was his favourite dish prepared by Chef Harry. We had a great evening dining by the beach soaking the moonlight! This humble beach shack had amazing sea food, prompt service and made seating arrangement on the beach with small tents which made the ambience very romantic! They serve fresh menu and have a very friendly staff! Drop in from some mouthwatering sea food and chilled beer right on the beach!

We used Mish Mar beach shack virtually every day of our 2 month stay in Goa because the food, service & friendship are second to none. Camillo, mine host, speaks excellent English & has a wicked sense of humour, but is constantly watching to make sure his guests are well catered for. The staff, most of whom have been at the shack for many years, cannot do enough for you. What is great about visiting Mish Mar is that we meet up with friends we have made over the years, some of whom have been coming to Goa & this shack for 25 years or more.People would not keep returning if it was not one of the best places to eat & enjoy the beach life. Thank you Camillo & staff for yet another fabulous holiday.

What a wonderful place to eat good food drink a cold beer whilst looking out onto the Arabian Sea. Friendly hospitality with no rush or hassle. The chicken kolhapuri curry was the best Iâve tasted. Beautiful rustic shack to relax and enjoy.

There was only one other couple dining when we visited this restaurant for a drink and a snack at lunch time. Nevertheless it took 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive and a further 30 minutes until we received the fish tikka and cheese pakodas.The food however was worth the wait as both dishes were delicious so only marked down because of the very long wait without any explanation or apology.

We were a little disappointed by our stay at Swing by the bay. It all started out well, small guesthouse situated one street back from the beach, an easy walk. Nice outdoor restaurant facing the street. A very efficient fellow on the reception desk organised us, hurried up the cleaning and we were in a bit earlier than expected about 1pm. The room itself was quite large, tiled floors and the usual smallish bathroom, water only tepid. The two single beds pushed together, was just OK. Pillows very worn (hardly much pillow left). We had to ask for some top sheets only provided with a bottom sheet and a furry blanket. The sheets were lovely and freshly ironed when we finally got them. However the bathroom towels were quite old and grey looking. The air con worked ok after we made a few queries. The standard was what you would generally expect from a 2 star hotel, but given the price we paid we had been expecting a little bit more. Short distance to airport which is why we stayed here, about 15 mins 500rps. Beach is OK for a short stay. Joets on the beach a good place for some food and drink. Bogmalo Beach resort had a wedding on being Saturday night which made it a bit noisy to sleep. There was a small balcony with 3 chairs. You can see a view of the beach but there is a lot of things in the way. It is advertised as being next to Bagmallo Beach resort so we expected it to be directly on the beach, but it is actually one street back.

John Seagull has been one of the finest places which I have visited at Bogmalo beach. Some of the highlights of the place are that, it is reasonably priced, varied range of food specially veg because I am pure vegetarian, has a fine pool table to sip a few glasses of beer while enjoying a game of pool with buddies, also offers a lot of desi Indian bites (aka Chakna) which is really important for people like me. All in all, had a wonderful experience at this place and I would strongly recommend everyone to be here if you happen to come to Bogmalo beach.
