Applebee's

This Applebee's is conveniently located just off the interstate on the southern end of the city. My wife and I stopped here on our way north because of the convenience and the reputation of the chain. We didn't want fast food but we also didn't want to spend a lot of time eating dinner. We were anxious to get back on the road and back home. So we were a bit disappointed that the service was slower than we hoped or desired. Our server was very friendly and helpful, it just took a long time for the meals to arrive. My wife ordered a 6 oz sirloin steak with a couple of sides. A salad was one of the sides but it cost extra. Why? I don't know. A baked potato was the other side and it turned out to be very dry, probably because it didn't come with butter or sour cream. It was all good in the end because our server did bring some out when my wife asked. I ordered a Bourbon Street steak. Pretty average tasting for a steak and a featured item on their menu. All in all it was a pretty ho-hum experience and we'll likely look for other options when we pass through Cedar City next time.

Kayla was an excellent server. I ordered the sticky fingers appetizer with a side of fries. It was all delicious and I had leftovers for an additional snack. Prices are very reasonable and they had an excellent selection of beer available. Well worth a stop if you are in the area.

Not bad for a bar in Utah. They have Karaoke and good drinks. I haven't eaten here but the food looked good at another table.

Looking for a quick bar food supper between performances at the Shakespeare Festival, we ducked in here. (They advertise in the program.) It looks like a typical small town bar. A long bar is accompanied by some tables, with a pool table in a small room adjacent. The service was good and they provided us with some pretty good bar food. The juke box tended to drown out the baseball game.
