The food was pretty good. She got the La Spianata Bolognese (1) and I had ordered a caesar chicken salad, and a classico burger, having no idea of the serving sizes. The salad was pretty big, almost a meal by itself, but the greens were all iceberg lettuce. chicken was good. The burger was huge. It's a good thing I didn't order the Maxi burger! The service was really good on the first visit, but on the second visit, it was decent from our server, but really good from the woman with the black hair behind the bar. She was very friendly and helpful.

The Speakeasy is always pretty busy and a great place to sit and watch the people wander by Lake Maggiore. The owner and staff are always very friendly and working hard. A great place for meeting friends and enjoying one of their many specialty from their multi-lingual menu. Always met with a friendly smile!!

How many times have I walked past this place? Too many.we stopped for a couple of drinks and they have a great cocktail selection as well as wines. Not disappointed at all. The staff smiled, and they were helpful, we sat outside with wonderful warm blankets, just in case we got cold.I shall go back

Our friends from Leisure Propertiers who are from the Netherlands love to meet us there. 049 is small but has great food, attentive staff, a fun atmosphere and a good value for the price.

A lovely place in the park, with fantastic views of the lake, great for photos, and the kids play area. Serving teas coffee drinks, and lots of delicious snacks. Very simple modern deco with some unusual old photos, sit in or outside, also clean toilet facilities.

I have been a couple of times at "Retro". It is not properly a restaurant but it is more a snack-bar and cocktail/wine bar. The "panini" are fantastic. The quality of the food is great and they are very original. There is the possibility to eat directly on the square with a direct view on the lake. The waiters are quick and nice. One of the best "quick" solution in Arona

This is a very traditional, very well done Irish Pub! This place sparked my curiosity to see what an 'Irish' PUB in Italy would be like. I was surprised when it was absolutely packed and the energy was just fantastic. Great place to visit if you grow weary of Italian food when on the Lake!

It's far away the best spot in Arona for the view. You are literally on the lake.Good selection of cocktails. Pizza os good, even if made in electric oven. Food served with the cocktails is good but on average.When we were there it was not possible to pay with cards but only cash.

If you are an American you will be very disappointed. The burgers are nothing like you expect in the States, although the fries were very good. It is not "barbeque" like Trip Advisor suggests. No, these were ordinary and probably frozen patties lacking any flavor. Even the bacon only added texture, not taste.
