Located in the Plaza Redonda, a circular craft market that seems to mainly be aimed at tourists, we were a little worried that El Leon was going to be another tourist trap despite the generally excellent reviews we'd read.We needn't have worried however, as the service, food and cost all lived up to our expectations. Service was quick and efficient, and the crispy chicken and Caesar salads we chose for lunch were both excellent and good value.

We followed trip advisorâs recommendation to check out this place near to our accommodation & werenât disappointed. Apparently Italian run and staffed this small restaurant bar has a great menu and friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Quite small so not that many tables outside but worth hanging around for. Not an extensive menu and partly some fast food offered but quality & tasty range of tapas plus fish, including delicious swordfish. Would recommend. Tks too much

We wanted to sample Valencian paella during a weekend trip and settled on this place after reading their reviews but more importantly, it was one of the closest spot to us after a long day and we were starving. It turned out to be a great choice. What we particularly liked about this place was that it looked and felt very authentic. There are loads of places in Valencia to have paella but most of these are geared for tourists rather than locals. This place is a bar/restaurant with less than 20 table covers and has a distinct local vibe. We asked for the traditional chicken and rabbit paella - as this is unique to Valencia. The verdict? Excellent quality and service!

I spent 4 days in Valencia on a city break with my partner still here now as we speak discussing how amazing this place is over our coffee stop In town.we ate here every single morning that we had spent in Valencia because it was just so good and the staff were all lovely, the acai bowls were tasty and the salad I had was so fresh and yummy definitely worth a visit if you like to eat clean healthy food and very reasonable prices considering it's or organic. Excellent 10/10
