Recently visited on a Saturday night with my other half. Unfortunately we had a disappointing experience. Our soft drinks were totally flat, our food was meh (the rice was terrible) and our waiter was really forgetful. Our bill was very high for the quality of the food served up.

Wow what can I say. An amazing restaurant.On arrival we were greeted and seated and made to feel most welcome.Lovely and clean.Ordered drinks while we looked at the menu. Ordered a variety of different dishes between 5 of us. The owner/waiter was attentive and so polite explained the dishes perfectly.Our starters arrived and were so beautifully presented and tasty, meat was succulent and juicy.Mains arrived and we were totally blown away with massive array of food that filled the table. This restaurant has won many awards and no surprise either, deserves to win many many more. I wish Iâd taken photos.I/we will 100% be back for another feast

We stayed in Derby for a couple of nights whilst visiting Chatsworth House; were staying at the Hallmark Hotel and went here on the recommendation of Tripadviser. The other reviews seem quite accurate:-Friendly and efficient serviceGreat choice of dishes (as always, to be honest, too much choice!)Excellent quality of food and ingredientsPricey - £50 for a 1 course dinner and a drink for the 2 of us. (The menu seemed to offer a tasting version per person for around £29pp and maybe that would have been a better option to get a full view of all the options at a reasonable price).The place is nice and clean; staff were excellent. It lends itself to large groups of business people mid-week so take care to try and get a quieter table if needed. We would probably go back again although there were a couple of places on the road so may try those first as looked very good from the outside as well.

Ordered lanb tikka masala, sauce far to creamy and sugary sweet and the lamb was stale and tough, they changed it got chicken but same sweet sauce. Service rushed hadnât finished popadoms when taken away. Whispered that they havenât charged for my curry, as if they did us a favour no will not be going back Hello,We highly appreciate your review and concern about it. On first appearance it's not great it made me want to check my cutlery was clean... Definitely needs a revamp decor is dismal and dirty looking. Cutlery looks battered.Service was poor from staff - they don't look like they want to be there not friendly at all. My coke arrived completely flat so I just said to the waiter 'Excuse me my coke is completely flat...' to which he snatched it out my hand and said was it coke or diet? I said coke he went off and came back with it in a bottle and said 'see an unopened bottle' poured it and walked off no apology or anything. I then tried the coke it was once again completely flat which means it was probably off...Food was ok portions are small - rice and nan bread were really nice though.Other than that I most definitely won't be returning.

Stopped for a drink when having a walk along the canal, lovely spot to have a drink and rest for a while. It is clear that a lot of money has been spent on this venue, particularly on the new wedding venue. The canal side seating would benefit from a little TLC. (Weeding the path and some varnish on the chairs). Had a look inside "The Mad Hatters" tea room, and I will definitely be giving there a try soon.

Myself and 2 of my sons visited Bollywood restaurant Wednesday 2/10/2019 .Iâve been 3 times now in just over a year and I was remembered on both of my revisits even though they werenât close together I really can not express how good the service is at Bollywood restaurant.The food was again cooked to perfection and value for money is unbeatable .At the end of August I ordered from their takeaway menu and that was also excellent.I was pleasantly surprised for a Wednesday evening to find the restaurant over half full but as busy as they were it didnât have any negative impact on the service we received or the swiftness of receiving our food .Iâve said it before and Iâll say it again now â if you havenât been yet go try it for yourselves you wonât be disappointed â
