Decided to book a table after reading reviews. Greeted by extremely friendly staff, very attentive . There were a lot of people coming in shaking hands with staff so clearly regular diners . The food was delicious . I also had a glass of the French merlot which I recommend. We now have a new favourite Indian restaurant that we will definitely return to .

Checked online from cottage we were staying out. Mixed reviews. Decided to try it anyway. Staff were very attentive, friendly and welcoming. Ordered 3 different curries, rice and naan bread. Arrived quickly, hot and very good! Definitely recommend, as always in restaurants drinks were quite pricey.

We live quite local so visit occasionally and have regular takeaways (collection only, no delivery)However, this weekend we had family visiting from the States who rarely have Indian food so we took them to the Tamarind restaurant. We promised them a fantastic meal, and they didn't disappoint! Absolutely amazing food, first class friendly service and lovely atmosphere!Our family really enjoyed it!! Thank you!!

On wanting to write a review I found this restaurant a little difficult to locate as it is rated #80 of 577 against those found in Norwich some 15 miles or so away! Due to post code listing it most definitely is not a true reflection of the uniqueness and quality of the Masala Garden compared with more locally found Indian Cuisine. We were well looked after by very pleasant and attentive staff - even the owner was on hand to explain differences encountered with other venue recipes.The choice of food was extensive and varied - enough to satisfy the most discerning of customers. The cost was in keeping with the excellence of the fare and ambiance.I have read the few negative reviews and can only assume they have some axe to grind or are referring to a different place.A lovely surprise was receiving a specially made dessert to finish off our family occasion.
