I discovered this little gem of a takeaway whilst commuting to and from Cambridge recently, just passing through the small village of Ridgewell and I am so pleased I did!Seriously amazing / best tasting Indian food in a 30 mile radius! Polite and punctual service, but seriously 'Oh the foooood' is so delicious! Don't worry about the outside, the smell of the spices will entice you! An immaculately clean kitchen which is also clearly visible. Great value as well.Try it!

Plates dirty n out dated, like grandma only uses them on special days. Bad Hygiene dusty and spider webs. Kitchen unclean and toilet was blockedDear Shabir A Your first name and the initial of your surname is the same as a close relative of one of our competitors, a coincidence perhaps... come on man attack of tripadvisor was so 2008!!Im sorry to hear your gran serves you at best on special days food on dirty patterned plates. We at the Melford Valley have clean, shiny white plates... this alone explains a lot. A wise man once said âOn a serious note you should actually come in and try the food for yourself to see what youâre competing against. Itâs only then youâll be able to fully appreciate our hard work.â We hope to see you soon.

We found the service and food poor to very average! Very disappointing as we had heard and read good reviews on this restaurant and its Indian cuisine. The Tandoori Chicken Tikka was poorly cooked and tasted terrible, not fresh and the Lamb Bona was very average. The table service was poor too. We were not asked how our food was! Will be voting with our feet and will not be returning - shame!

A short notice booking online resulted in another superb meal at our favourite Indian restaurant. The service was friendly and light hearted, but attentive and quick on a very busy Saturday evening.The standard of food just gets better and better with generous portions and stunning flavours.We will return.Clive and Jan.
