Andi Rohringer und seine Frau führen im Zentrum eine Bäckerei mit einem angeschlossenen Café-Bistro. Er erzeugt wahrscheinlich das beste Brot und Gebäck am Attersee. Ich hole mir gerne das "Atterseebrot", das aus natürlichen Zutaten besteht und auch nach mehreren Tagen noch ausgezeichnet schmeckt.Am Sonntag ist ebenfalls am Vormittag geöffnet, das nutzen viele, um frisches Gebäck, Croissants oder Plundergebäck für das Frühstück zu holen. Mittags gibt's ein Menü zu einem günstigen Preis.

19.7.2016, 12:00 Uhr: Einkehr nach einer Wanderung. Kellner zwar sehr freundlich, aber völlig überfordert. Ca. 12 Gäste im Lokal, es dauert ewig, bis Speisekarten kommen, und ewig, bis Bestellung aufgenommen wird. Als wir um 12:45, also mehr als eine halbe Stunde nach der Bestellung (ein Wurstsalat und ein Schweizer-Wurstsalat) noch immer nichts bekommen haben (allerdings die Gäste, die ca. 10 Minuten nach uns gekommen sind, Ihre Speisen schon erhalten haben), habe ich gemeint, dass wir nicht länger warten und die Rechnung für die zwei Getränke verlangt. Nach 2 Urgenzen kam keine Rechnung, sondern wurde nur mündlich ein Betrag von EUR 5,80 (für en groÃes Obi gespritzt und ein kleines Cola) verlangt. Der Kellner nahm meine 6 Euro und hat Sie eingesteckt. Erst auf meinen Hinweis, dass ich noch ein Retourgeld bekomme und er bei diesem Service wohl nicht mit einem Trinkgeld rechnen kann, hat er den Restbetrag herausgegeben.Kellner UND Küche offenbar komplett überfordert!

I was recommended to go here for dinner by the local hotel I was staying at. Extremely quiet on a September weekday night. The staff was friendly enough and helped me with translating the German menu. I ordered one of the specials - fresh fish from the lake a few steps await prepared in the traditional Austrian way. The hostess was kind enough to filet the fish for me - it was good but just about that only. The fresh salad on potatoes and deer soup with beets were truly amazing.

The dining rooms are spacious, cozy yet elegant with a fire in the fireplace. Food is excellent as is the service. Venison is available. Would definitely come back.

I could well recommend this as the best food we had in austria, not the cheapest but by far the best. I would go back there if I was ever around that area again, The Fillet steak was cooked to prefection and the trout had a taste that had come straight from the water and not the freezer.well worth a visit.

Have been in NuÃdorf for 5 days just to enjoy the beautiful landscape and great routes for mountain bikes, we found out just nearby our Hotel a great place named Peppoâs which is a great restaurant and nice bar to be sitting outside drinking a good beer and great selection of white and red wines , I recommend âfilet steakâ which is the tasty meat I ever tasted , good job Mr. Peppoâs

Recommended by the locals during our stay at Attersee lake. Quite up the hill outside of Weyregg, bringing just incredible view to the lake and mountains. Absolutely stunning terrace with conventional tables, but also there was one table a bit aside on the lawn for a private dinner of a mid - age couple.Though menu not available in English, a waiter helped to make an order, surprisingly not recommending the most expensive food.Very nice atmosphere with smiling staff, great service, perfect food and really astonishing view.We were lucky to get a place on a terrace, but it was during the week. I bet that you have to make a reservation during the weekend. It is a must visit restaurant at Attersee.

Great Austrian tavern with lots of wood and game heads mounted on the walls. The waitress was very helpful though she spoke little English. There are booths in the bar area and a large dining room area. Traditional Austrian dishes (Wiener schnitzel and goulash), delicious venison dishes and savory barbecue specialties. We ordered Zanderfilet and Kräuter-Cordon-Bleu and both was excellent. Will be coming back.

Excellent Restaurant in the city centre of Ebensee with austrian up to international kitchen. Big variety of national wines, friendly staff and traditional up to modern furniture. Big garden restaurant under old threes invites to stay from dusk till dawn.

Cosy interior, very friendly and helpful staff (dealing well with my poor german), very good food for quite acceptable price.
