Wunderbare Schmankerl und beste Milch sind hier zum bekommen. Wenn man will kann man auch hier Zimmer buchen! Ein schöner Platz zum Verweilen und auch relativ gemütlich zu erreichen (ca.1 1/2 Std).

Visited in Summer, lovely weather to sit out side. We could enjoy some strudel and drinks and look out over the play garden where our son could play. Great swing with gorgeous backdrop of snow capped mountains and the himmelwand side of the mountain. It's a lovely 15-20 min hike from the parking lot.

We had a very pleasant 5 night all inclusive stay at Almrosl. The rooms are basic but clean and have a good shower. Breakfast and dinner are very nice and plenty. Good stay for hiking trips in the mountains. Street side rooms can be noisy (early moring traffic and 6 o'clock churchbells) when the window is not closed.

After your journey up to Kolnbein schpere go down the Malta berg strasse and on the end you find this huette. It si anice place to take small break for refreshment. The staff is kind and helpfull.

Went there because of good ratings on TripAdvisor and were not disappointed at all. It's been one of the best restaurant experience lately. Food was delicious, service was superb and there were nice views of the town and mountains. Simply a very good experience. Highly recommend.

Ci siamo fermati in questo ristorante per caso , era ora di pranzo ed abbiamo visto il cartello sulla strada.Tavoli all'aperto, locale abbastanza grande al'interno e con una saletta in tipico stile di montagna che e' un vero gioiellino!Menù ricco di piatti , cucina austriaca , porzioni generose e prezzi onesti.Servizio veloce e personale molto gentile.Molto buoni il Gröstl e la Wiener Schnitzel (una sorta di "cotoletta").Davvero una bella scoperta!

It is actually difficult to rate this place solely in the "restaurant" category, considering everything that's on offer there - especially the permanent exhibition of the Krampus masks, the wandering paths in the valley and mountains, the cool kiddie playground just by the Talwirt AND the valley museum next door.Anyhow, the food is your standard Austrian country inn menu so no surprises there, and the cooks do a really good job so having a meal there is to be recommended.Overall, a good place to visit. And not just for the food.
