Chosen as an easy place to meet up with friends. We werenât expecting too much, based on previous experience from a couple of us. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, good old fashioned hospitality. We were very pleased with our lunch dishes, and dessert was delish! We would return for our next catch up.

Working in the area for a few days and had been to another cafe that was ok but thought I would try another cafe and spread my money around. This cafe looked appealing and so it is. Tried their egg and bacon sandwich toasted and a coffee for breaky, very very good. Went back the next day with my co workers for morning coffees and they were impressed as well. Will be back there when working in the area or tripping through Leongatha. This place wasnât on Trip Adviser which we use all the time so I have put it up as it was worth a review.

Quality food and coffee with house made cakes. Off the main street with free parking around the back and a kids playground over the road. Beautiful deck to enjoy on a sunny day and lovely warm heating during winter.

We have been here for takeaway coffee so thought we would try a breakfast. Clean and quiet atmosphere and staff are friendly enough. Even with the sign on the wall asking patrons to be considerate when waiting for meals as they are 'all cooked fresh'.... I fail to see how two simple breakfasts could take over 40 minutes to be served when there were 7 patrons in the establishment. The meals themselves were pleasant although not as well presented as I had been told. Failure to keep popular entrees available ran out of bruschetta, failure to cook meat correctly sending it back multiple times and still failed to meet food standards as well as correctly cooking meatsDO NOT ORDER FISH OR STEAK from here unless you want to be disappointed and feeling very crook.VERY UNHELPFUL FOR ANY DIETARY REQUIREMENTS, LITTLE TO NO UNDERSTANDING OF ALLERGY AND INTOLERANCES.Refusal to refund meal until you quote consumer acts allegedly they get a lot of people requesting there money back... go elsewhere save the hassle

This place going back a few years was the best place in town, it was well priced, the food was fantastic and it was always packed! Was down for holidays and Made a few visits here, it's not busy like once, and the food boring and average! Only positive staff are nice.

Very welcoming. Excellent background music. But the pizza was superb, as was the Greek salad! Since it is not BYO, the winelist could include some some less expensive bottle options. As it was a special night for us, I got a bottle of their $32 Pinot Noir.Which was a serious wine and complimented the food and the great night we had.

We used to come to the rusty all the time for lunch. Sadly this lunch was really poor. The restaurant was almost empty..quite the opposite of what it used to be. The menu board had more items crossed off as not available than items that were.My friend had a pie which she said was good. I has a risotto muffin which looked delicious but had been reheated and was cold in the middle. It was dry and pretty tasteless. The salad accompaniments looked really like a garnish than salad. the coffee was good. And the staff were lovely.
