As a vegan there wasnt much on the menu but the staff sprung to action and checked with the chef. The meals that arrived were outstanding. The best vegan I have ever had. Would go back again and again. Thankyou so much for accomodating me. Such a beautiful space and lovely staff. Special mention to the lovely cellar door lady. She is great and we had a lovely chat. I have joined the wine club too. Thanks JC.

Visited this restaurant as part of a party of 4 on a Friday night. Booked weeks in advance as heard this restaurant can be difficult to get into it at short notice. The restaurant the night we dined. Two of us on the table ordered 200g eye fillet cooked medium with truffle bernaise sauce for $49 each and found it to be very tender and excellent to eat. One of the other diners ordered rump and one ordered scotch fillet, both were over $50 and both were found to be very tough even though cooked medium as well. So if you prefer your steak tender definitely choose the Cape Grim eye fillet. Vanilla Creme brûlée for dessert was lovely. Service was good.

Attended a Christmas dinner here with choices from a set menu. I chose the pork belly for entree which was cooked to perfection and accompanied with a roasted pear salad. The whole dish was sublime. Mains was fish on a bed of buttery potatoes - again delicious. Dessert was a raspberry custard tart, and it was so so good. The staff were incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable of the wine list. Thanks to each member of the team for a wonderful evening. Dear BubbleGirl13Thank you so much for your compliments and for your kind review of your dining experience at Terrace. We’re so please you enjoyed your Christmas dinner and that we were able to enhance on your festivities. Delightful meal at Stillwater. Friendly and welcoming staff, very efficient and helpful. Meal was delicious! We were quite hungry so went for a round of each plates that we shared. Would highly recommend the Prawn potstickers, the pork belly, the kingfish tartare and the lamb from the large plates, though everything we had was very good. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant.

Dropped by this delightful cafe following a local recommendation and went with friends. It was so good that my wife and I came back another day. The baked eggs with ham hock was stunning and our pick of the selection. The portion size perfect and delicious. Great friendly service which was spot on.

A really interesting menu. A return visit with positive recollections. This time we made a couple of unfortunate choices - Sardines entree came with bland accompaniments. Duck leg excellent but cabbage overpowered. Terrific pate/parfait. Terrific pork belly/crackling pancakes. Excellent wine. Unusual service style.

I had what is probably my most delicious breakfast ever. Everything was simply delicious. The most gloriously cooked mushrooms, an absolutely sumptuous "hash brown" (but to call it a hash brown is an insult because it is fluffy potato, spiced/seasoned and perfectly crusted and nothing like the bland hash browns you get anywhere else). Great poached eggs, good sausage and great bread. The mushrooms were the best fried mushrooms I've ever had. I would definitely definitely recommend this place. I will certainly return next time I'm in Launceston.Oh, the decor is really quirky and interesting too. And the staff were wonderful. Plus the prices.were good.

Lovely ambience, however the seating is such that there is little room between tables. We opted for a main and dessert- I had the flat head fillets and my partner had the duck ravioli- both were very good. For dessert I had the gelato and my partner had the pannacotta both were excellent.Dear yvc129,Thank you so much for taking the time to review Novaro's Restaurant. We are pleased you enjoyed your evening and look forward to your return visit.Kind regards,Sarah and Kathleen

I first reviewed this restaurant back in Nov 2016, & if anything, it is even better. The view overlooking our city park together with the excellent selections from the menu leave most overseas comparison lacking. Saltambuca Chicken, Prawns, Eye Fillet Steak & to die for deserts. Just go & enjoy!
