If you are staying at the National Park, chances are you will be having your breakfast and lunch buffet at this restaurant. Buffet spread is not that varied but provided a balance between western and local cuisine. Try their version of 'tuhau goreng', it was really delicious. The restaurant provides a very comfortable resting place after your descend from Mount Kinabalu. The restaurant is very close to the National Park office where the prayer room and public toilet is located.
Iâve been to Raudhah Kitchen a few times and do not disappoint. The owner is very helpful. The staff are also very polite and helpful! Food choice is abundant and price wise is exceptional. A hangout for mostly local anglers as there is a bait and tackle shop just next door. Worth a visit!
Came here after a very disatifying dip at the Poring hot spring before heading back to KK.There were two restaurants directly opposite the hot spring.. We chose this one as it looked brighter..We ordered one of their set lunch and added a small portion of fried noodle...The fried noodle was so good that we ordered another large portion...Food wasn't bad and price was reasonable. And its literally just across the road from Poring hot spring entrance...

Had brunch at Liwagu while waiting for the rain. The restaurant inside Kinabalu Park compound, few minutes drive (maybe about 15mins walk) from Kinabalu park entrance. One of the very few "nicer" restaurants near kundasang. Lovely ambience, clean, very relaxed, classic.. friendly staffs, and great food. Ordered steak, and to my suprise it was good. Recommended!Price range normal for a resthouse restaurant.

Restaurant is inside Sabah Tea Plantation
This was my first stop upon arriving Kundasang/Ranau, as I flew in to Kota Kinabalu a day earlier and drove to Kundasang/Ranau.Spectacular views at the restaurant, very attentive staff, wide selection of food & beverages. The Teh Tarik was excellent. A must-have upon arrival here.
'Welcome to your new hangout place! DedaRody Library cafe is the 1st Library Cafe in Pekan Ranau comes complete with a cafe so you can enjoy the company of your favourite authors with local and western cuisine.'
I've been here dozens of times and honestly the concept of it never fails to keep me dumbfounded. In all due honesty of course library cafés aren't anything new, but the fact that it's in 'Ranau' is absolutely amazing judging by how far back we are in terms of development (no offense, I'm from Ranau too). So having this café is definitely a plus to Ranau.I'll got to the point now xDFood: DELICIOUSIf you're bored of the usual goreng2 then do come cuz they have a creative menu to choose fromI personay enjoy their chicken chop (worth the price) because it has a CHEESE DIP! I'd also recommend the spicy keropok lekor (fish chips) and spicy fries, the serving sizes will not disappoint you.Beverages: They offer a variety of drinks to choose from. Ranging from as normal as a cup of plain water to the unique Frappes with whipped cream and they've got a lot of flavours too. I personally like the oreo frappe.Desserts: Unique and Creative!I have no comment on this, you'll have to go see for yourself since the deserts are too uniquely named for me to mention hahaha.Service: If you eat inside the café then they give you this square gadget thingy (forgive me for not knowing hahahaha the actual name) that beeps when your food is ready and you can get the food from a window connected to the kitchen, quite interesting really. The staff are friendly and food comes fast.Decor: Oh My Gosh, where do I even begin. There's too many worth mentioning but the most mesmerising aspect of the cafe is definitely the bookshelf on the wall that reaches the ceiling with a ladder that can be climed to reach the higher books. It's absolutely breathtaking and adrenaline racing for bookworms like myself.Music: The music generates a good and positive vide around the café making it calm and a suitable place to just sit, eat, and read.Entrance:Some people complain about the entrance fee but I find it to be a completely reasonable price for maintaining the beauty and and atmosphere of the place.Toilet: (of course)I really like the toilet hahahaha. It's clean and suitable for those 'shy poopers' because there's a separate space between the actual toilet and the entrance to the toilet space. To put it straight, I'd surely come here just for the toilet itself.
