Bad Service, ignorant staff , 2 of us ordered but one meal came, then they served a family before getting our second meal so one person finished eating before the other started, we payed for one meal and left, never to return, they even laughed as if it was funny, I'm the one who didn't eat, partner said the food was rubbish.

The food in this restaurant is definitely the most delicious Iâve ever tasted.Fantastic choices but we had the Thali which is a selection of dishes served on a platter. I was using a differant indian takeaway but had started finding the standard had slipped. Tried this one after it was recommended by my son.Lovely tastey Rogan josh. Yes it was oily but no more than any other Indian. Will now use regularly

Visited the Taj Mahal on Saturday night. Fantastic food and friendly efficient service. Night out made all the more affordable as the restaurant allows you to take your own drinks (there is even an off licence conveniently open 2 doors down if you donât want to carry too much with you)

Myself and my girlfriend ate at the Maharaja for an Indian meal on Sunday night. We had a nice meal - I had Meat Samosa for starters, then Chicken Passander for mains, with pilau rice and a Cheese & Chilli Naan. Food was piping hot, and the Chicken Passander particularly was very flavoursome.My only nag about this restaurant that lets it down is the way staff appear in the restaurant. All 2-3 of the waiters on duty looked thoroughly miserable and like they did not want to be there. The waiter that took our order seemed thoroughly disinterested and there seemed to be a lack of passion for the job they were doing. So my only advice to this place would be to try and improve the customer service and try to smile!!Otherwise food was lovely :-)

All good as always. Helpful staff. Reasonoble prices . Busy so book if possible. Especially for a evening.Quality produce used. Doesn't leave you bloated and that stuffed feeling.

Have previously enjoyed meals here.Disappointed on our recent visit.Had pre-booked a table. Obviously extremely busy. A large group of people celebrating a birthday . Usually ok. This group extremely noisy . Children screaming lots of swearing.Two men vaping on a table behind us.So noisy and unpleasant. The service slow. Would have been ok but you could not hear yourselves talk!Will not be returning soon.

This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food is delicious and we got a very warm welcome from the waiter/possibly owner.A very appealing menu. The dishes all sounded great, so it was difficult to choose, but we were all happy with what we picked.I would certainly eat here again.
