Fareham (/ˈfɛərəm/ FAIR-əm) is a market town at the north-west tip of Portsmouth Harbour, between the cities of Portsmouth and Southampton in the south east of Hampshire, England. It gives its name to the borough that comprises the town and its surrounding area. It was historically an important manufacturer of bricks (notably used to build the Royal Albert Hall, London) and a grower of strawberries. Current employment includes retail (including Fareham Shopping Centre with around 100 shops), small-scale manufacturing, and defence (with the Royal Navy's HMS Collingwood and the Ministry of Defence's Defence Science and Technology Laboratory nearby).

Wide choice on the menu.Pleasant service.Big cost saving that you can take your own drinks - we used the Aldi next door (open till 10.00pm) to buy drinks on the way in and then top up during the meal !!Will definitely be back

A slight improvement since our last visit. The staff were more friendly, the poppadoms were acceptable and the mains were all enjoyed.Compared to most Indian restaurants, the rice portions are a little small.No cold beer available for some reason.

Several years ago this was considered one of the best Indians in the Fareham area. However after a couple of recent disappointing visits it would seem standards have since slipped. During our latest visit both our chicken curries were partially under-cooked and tasted bland. Furthermore my onion bhajis were dry and the naan bread was overcooked. Also, my coke was flat. Like it had been poured from a left open bottle. I'm all for cost cutting, even more so in today's tough economic climate, but come on guys, don't be cheap. At least use a fresh bottle. On a more positive note our rice was good, as were our desserts (albeit still slightly frozen!) The complimentary Baileys is always a welcome touch and the service was top draw as always. Also, they have a five star hygiene rating as of August this year, which is always reassuring. That said given the recent drop in food quality we'll be going elsewhere from now on unless standards improve. Shame.

Friends decided they wanted Chinese for dinner,so they said let's check out this place,we got there at 14.15,and the waitress said we close at 3, so have a look and see if theres anything there you would like as the kitchen is closed,which we thought was decent,we had a look and decided, yep there was enough there we liked, so much choice food absolutely delicious ,we had beef,chicken,rice,ribs,duck,all cooked lovely, certainly made a good 1st impression on us,we will be back,that is always the defining point can they be as good,or better,well let's hope so,but as 1st time goes, impressed.Dear Customer, Thank you so much for your kind review! we really appreciate this and hope to see you again soon. Often used the restaurant at this excellent Chinese business. On this occasion got a take away and as always all our choices were excellent. More importantly, on my request, all the containers were the traditional foil with cardboard lids. Single use plastic is unacceptable. Yes, there was a little leakage but a small price to pay if we can all help save our planet from the constant and thoughtless use of plastic.

After looking at previous reviews we had high expectations. Erm, sadly no, soft poppadoms, chicken tasted like it was cooked a few days ago, it fell far short. There are far better take aways in the area, you need to be very hungry if you give this place a good review. Twice we tried it and both times they got something wrong. Visited Dim T on recommendation of a friend. 4 of us went on a Monday night when they do their 50% off all food. Having fairly recently gotten into Japanese food I was excited to try this place and I wasnât disappointed. We had 3 starters per couple which were absolutely delicious. The chicken satay in particular was amazing. We all had a main and I went for Katsu curry which was again delicious. Washed all this down with a couple of pints of tiger, as did the other 3 at the table. Was pleasantly surprised to get a bill of about £75 for all that for 4. Service was great and we even got a complimentary sambuca and fortune Cookie at the end. Will definitely be returning!! Absolute waste of time. People say t if you don't like the wagamama way don't go, well i certainly wish I had reviewed this establishment before going. On arrival chefs were leaving in their full chefs whites (which were not white after a shift) via the entrance, very off putting. 5 meals ordered and 4 of which arrived at different times. Apparently the food is cooked by highly qualified expert chefs. We dined off peak so restaurant was quiet and 14 chefs were unable to produce 5 meals at least approximately the same time.
