I can't anything about this place besides, I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT!!!!! Gamjatang is me and my wife's favorite restaurant in all of South Korea. I was introduced to this place by my wife and have been hooked ever since. I think we ate here maybe 3 days in one week, lol. You have to try it! The Filipinas can be seen here in groups because this place is all of their favorites as well. Great all year round but perfect during the harsh Korean winters. I plan on eating this one more time before I depart Korea and upon arriving to Hawaii, I will be on the prowl for gamjatang. Hopefully my omma knows a few good places in Honolulu.

CY + c ( 19.03.23 ) My family visited this restaurant for eating Pyongyang style naengmyeon that was famous in this area. We ordered various Pyongyang style food, Pyeongyang-style Chicken Soup with Rice, Spicy Buckwheat Noodles and Cold Buckwheat Noodles, that's excellent to us. The food was very good to us, and the texture of noodles was thick and delicious. The atmosphere was old and the service was no problem. We want to eat various and different food, so there was very good restaurant to us.

Myself, my wife and a couple of friends went here for lunch today. It was my first time, and I was very pleased. I had tteokgalbi before, but this was the best I've had. I highly recommend it. There was a long wait before the main dish, about 30 minutes, but worth the wait, and also understanding it was probably the busiest time of the day. Will certainly go back again.

Yeah I know, lame title. However this place is a good place for people that are new to the beef on a leaf places in Korea. You get an assortment of beef and pork on the night we were there to choose from. It is all you can eat within 90 minutes and has all of the typical Korean sides you could want. They have western and eastern style seating so you can try sitting on the floor if you would like. While it is a more expensive place than most in Jihaeng it is a clean, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere for everyone in the area. We are from the States and were totally comfortable here. Definitely worth a try.

I always passed by this place and wanted to check it out. Lucky enough one of our friends invited me here so I was very excited. We reserved the back room for private dining. We all chose the duck meal. There was sooooo much to eat. I think I ate too much because it felt like I was about to pop. It happens when the food is very tasty. Wish I would have eaten here earlier.
