Basingstoke (/ˈbeɪzɪŋstoʊk/ BAY-zing-stohk) is the largest town in the modern county of Hampshire (Southampton and Portsmouth being cities.) It is situated in south central England, and lies across a valley at the source of the River Loddon. It is located 30 miles (48 km) northeast of Southampton, 48 miles (77 km) southwest of London, and 19 miles (31 km) northeast of the county town and former capital Winchester. According to the 2016 population estimate the town had a population of 113,776. It is part of the borough of Basingstoke and Deane and part of the parliamentary constituency of Basingstoke. Basingstoke is often nicknamed "Doughnut City" or "Roundabout City" because of the number of large roundabouts.

Two of us called in on the off-chance that they would have a table, and they did and we were seated quickly. We were served very quickly indeed with knowledgeable and pleasant waiters who advised us on what some of the dishes were and how spicy they were. Our food and drink arrived quickly despite there being a large party in the restaurant who were half way through their meal. The food was superb and probably one of the best Indian food establishments I have been to. Will definately be back.Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed your Food. We look forward to serve you again.Thank you

Family Saturday lunch. I have eaten here many times. We are on a hot Saturday. The pad Thai salad was alive with different flavours. Definitely recommendednothing better on a hot day then a pad thai. thank you very much for leaving us a great review!

The Lime Leaf has a great atmosphere upstairs. The food is very good and all dishes were authentic and well presented. Service was good. Everything about Lime Leaf is very pleasant and friendly. The Early Bird menu does not offer much in the way of value and it would be better to go for the main menu.

An excellent chinese restaurant with a buffet of sorts which was policed with discipline - so no wasted food. The menu had additional starters that we paid extra for so beware that you understand the "menu small print" The drinks and food were of high quality and met our needs and easliy felt "stuffed" very quickly. For a Sunday lunch it was quiet. Very happy to go back as this was a good experience. I recommend the Tang Chinese Restaurant in Basingstoke. A good environment and good loos!

Another fabulous evening at Yamazaki. Personal favourites were the duck gyoza, chicken teriyaki yakisoba and coconut ice cream mochi. My friend loved the extremely fresh sashimi. Service, as always, was perfect. Will definitely be back. At last Basingstoke has a fabulous independent restaurant!

It has been a very long time that I had a sushi that is so good. Everything was delicious, beautifully presented and super fresh. I tried California Roll, Crunchy Tempura Roll, Dragon Roll and Philadelphia Deluxe Roll. I strongly recommend all of them. After your mains, dont forget to order dessert. They are serving Mochi and Dorayaki. Especially Cheesecake Mochi was one of the best dessert that i ve eaten. Overall, certainly it is a must try sushi place!!

7 of us visited on Wednesday evening. It was busy but we had booked prior. Ambience excellent owners of restaurant very hands on and helpful in suggesting dishes. Portion size good. Food took a while to arrive but totally worth it! Highly recommend. Masala chai at end was icing on the cakeThank you so much
