Anté is one of the managers here, speaks fluent English and was so welcoming we could not resist coming for lunch. The chevitos are great. I had the salmon one and my friend the meat one. The lemonade is excellent too. The best chevitos in la barra with a wonderful beach vibe. Must go here for lunch while you stroll along. Ask for Anté!

La comida es como casera. Muy rica en general. Lo mejor de todo, LAS PAPAS FRITAS!!!! Recomiendo el asado, las milanesas, las pastas. El ambiente familiar es cómodo y cálido.

Fuimos varias veces a Ferona. La primera a escuchar un excelente DJ Federico Schraguer, el 1 de Enero 2019 a la 1 am. Otra vez fuimos a comer comida al fuego, que cocinan a la vista un menú de varios pasos, que si bien no fue barato, la situación era muy agradable, buena música y la pasamos genial. La tercera vez fuimos a tomar algo y de la nada apareció Charly GarcÃa e hizo un show de 40 minutos repasando algunos de sus hits, que fue un regalo inesperado.Para quienes vayan a José Ignacio, este lugar localizado en La Juanita, tiene una onda muy buena, de gente entre 25 y 35 años promedio con un estilo mas relajado, mas rokero y mas intelectual que los lugares de José Ignacio. Buena experiencia, buen lugar, lo recomiendo

Loved everything about our dinner experience! The estancia is absolutely lovely, beautiful setting. The restaurant is large with both indoor and outdoor seating, done with taste. Beautiful lighting for an evening dinner. The service was impressive, our server was so friendly, non pretentious with a genuine smile and what we really enjoyed was that she spoke perfect English, as our Spanish is not very good this was a great treat! As for our dinner, it was fantastic! Grilled octopus, beef steak cooked to perfection and did I mentioned the wine? That to was perfect! We will definitely go back and I highly recommend the restaurant, itâs a little out of town near the golf course and off a dirt road, but easy to find. Take a Uber this way you can have more wine, thatâs what we should have done instead of driving ourselves.

Staff is extremely inexperienced - and poorly trained. Took forever to order, and took several waitress trips to even get a wine bottle. Ordered âbife anchoâ - worst rendition of Uruguayan steak ever tried: hard, over cooked, tiny. Sent it back - staff was very nice and took it without questions. Replacement order was an even worst disaster: took 1 hour to get the âpasta of the dayâ; milanesas were burnt, tasteless... they even sent an additional dish we never ordered. We requested to speak with the owner: her explanation was that âitâs normal here for a dish to take one hour to arriveâ. Unapologetic, poor forms. Did not finish meal, asked for check: it was wrong and we were even charged for what we sent back. We will surely never go back. Avoid it.

convenient location for us since we can walk from our home; on busy main street, no view other than people and cars. Fresh, unpretentious décor. Food can be very good. Good wine selection. When it's busy, waitresses tend to get overwhelmed. If you get the owner, she doesn't mind voicing her opinion (which is useful if you are not sure what to order) but when the staff tries to do it, too, it doesn't work as well, they lack the je-ne-sais-pas that you need to get away with it. All in all, I would recommend the place to friends.

My husband and I were super excited for this meal. Having been to 1884 and Maria Antonieta (Mallmanâs wifeâs restaurant) in Mendoza, we considered ourselves seasoned (pun intented) Mallmann fans. Sadly, Garzon missed the mark. Not only is it a far drive from basically everything, but the pricing was absurd for the service and food provided. The waitstaff was disinterested and very casual in demeanor, which I donât expect when I pay for water service (which was barely even noticed or refilled) AND a cover charge, not to mention $70 (USD) entrees that were good but nothing out of this world. By the end we were so disgusted we didnât even want to stay for desert. Sad experience and a waste of money.

I am starting to have doubts about this place, once among my favorites in the world. Food is still good- smaller portions,it's true. Drinks are a lot worse than in the past, as is the limited wine selection. But service has really deteriorated a lot: toilets had no water and/or were dirty, they were poorly prepared for rain, the awnings were full of holes and could not properly protect clients from the water. Additionally, the manager wanted to leave the place before the clients. As $160/person, I would (and do) expect a lot more. Maybe they should get back to basics and do an internship with La Huella folks!

We went for lunch on a holiday Monday. It was packed with families. We sat out on the porch. The service was excellent and the fish (corvina) was also excellent. It was the fish of the day. A wonderful experience overall. Popei' does not have any ocean view, but the veranda is really pleasant. We were even visited by a hummingbird. A must do in Jose Ignacio.Un placer para nosotros recibir tan lindo comentario y saber que hayan disfrutado de nuestro ambiente familiar. Bienvenidos siempre a la casa de un pescador!
