We went on a weekday late morning, and there was about a 20-minute wait for a table. The service was prompt and friendly; they brought drinks right away and checked in about refills frequently, but not annoyingly so. The coffee is excellent, and refills come with both hot and iced.I had the half-size egg benedict. It comes with home fries and was plenty filling. I was asked whether I wanted the poached egg soft or medium, which was a nice touch. Most items on the menu look enormous, and I saw many people leaving with boxes of leftovers. I hope to return when I can share one of their pancake or waffle creations.

We'd seen the reviews, wanted to check this out, but was tentative because of limited menu choices. I was so pleasantly surprised, the food was excellent, one of us had the steak, it was amazing, one had the pork chop equally amazing, both perfectly prepared and presented. Service was excellent, salad was one of the best I've had. We'll be going back for sure!

The Concord Cheese Shop

Stopped in for a bite, mainly because I love CHEESE! I mean, who doesn't?!? We were also looking for somewhere that we can stay on a low carb, gluten-free diet and this place had signs offering to accommodate special dietary or allergy restrictions. Be sure to take a number at the deli or at the cheese stand for service! I stood there oogling at the yumminess for a couple minutes before I realized people were calling numbers out. I think the 3 salad sampler for $10.99 is a great deal. They have so many good ones to choose from. There are some small 2 top tables hidden in the back by the wine. Afterward. We headed to the cheese counter to try out some delicious samples.

We have been going to the Prime a couple of times a month for a few years. We always liked the selection and variety of the menu. Since our last visit, the menu had changed and our favorite were no longer on the menu. While the meat selection was similar, the accompaniments had changed and were very Mediterranean or Middle Eastern inspired. We are usually not adventurous with our food and were turned off by the changes. Will be a while before we head back.

Oak Barrel Tavern

It looks like a totally generic modern pub. With the walls of glass windows, it is more brightly lit than most, but otherwise it has mainly comfort food. Fortunately, it has better than average food, from the appetizers to the burgers, fish and chips, and more. It also has a good beer selection and other drinks. Service is more polished than most restaurants of this type. I think they are trying to be a bit more upscale than your typical pub or tavern, and they are succeeding, but they aren't at the gastropub level either. It's nice to have a good restaurant with comfort food in Sudbury. It shouldn't be that hard to find around here, but it is.

We hosted our daughter in laws baby shower at Conrads in Sudbury. From start to finish the function was perfect. The waitstaff that were assigned to our event were professional, welcoming, accommodating and fun. The food we selected for the function was delicious and plentiful. Our guests all commented on how good the food was. We served their signature autumn sangria which was delicious. Cinnamon sugar on the rim of the glass, slices of apples and perfectly refreshing and tasty! The bartenders/waitstaff were so attentive and just contributed to making our function a success. The function room was cozy, comfortable and attractive. Great job and a great day!

When we visited, restaurant was very busy, not a single table available unless one had reservations (we did). Thanks to the full house AND the many children in the dining area, the ambient sound level was pretty high. Ambient light level required the use of cellphone light to read the menu. Our server was efficient, though a little too eager to interrupt our conversation. Just a matter of style/personal preference. Other than that, our drink and food orders were taken correctly and delivered pretty quickly. This restaurant seems a little taken by itself. For example, one of the appetizers we ordered was "warm potato chips". Much to our chagrin, it was a cupful of potato chips - could have been Lays or Ripples. And they charged $8 for them. Not impressive. The Edamame was also disappointing.Dinners were fine - we had Chicken Parm, Stuffed Acorn Squash, Chicken Piccata. Everyone was able to find and enjoy wine selections from their list.May or may not return - it all depends on whether we are in the neighborhood.

Per their website, "Longfellow's Wayside Inn is the oldest operating Inn in the United States, offering comfort and hospitality to travelers along the Boston Post Road since 1716." On the way into the dining room, there are some interesting historic exhibits in side rooms. Their restaurant is old school, a large room with linen tablecloths & napkins & nice background music. It has a rustic & atmospheric dining space with a post-and-beam interior. The complimentary cheese spread, served first, was made with cottage cheese & was rather bland. The crispy slices of bread though for the spread were better. Then again, how many restaurants offer a free appetizer these days? They also served a basket of rolls & a variety of mini muffins, which was nice. Heads up that, in addition to their regular menu, on weekdays (i.e., Mon. to Fri.), they also offer some 3 course dinner specials (appetizer, entrée, & dessert) for $23.95 - such a deal! They have a similar 3 course dinner special on Sundays as well. Lastly, I don't know whether it was quiet, because we dined on Labor Day, but it was very nice to have a leisurely dinner when you also could hear each other talk!

Helen's Restaurant

This is a popular local spot perfect for tourists, too (Concord is a big tourist town). Looks and feels like a hip diner, but the food, esp breakfast, is anything but.

Helen's in the heart of Concord, Massachusetts has a breakfast menu that reminds you of what good hometown diners used to serve. The food is very good, comes quickly and is served with sincere friendliness. Be sure to visit the ATM before coming to Helen's as they only accept cash! We were there for breakfast so we didn't get to try one of the many flavors of ice cream that Helen's serves up, but we were tempted.
