I've been visiting Buffalo Alice's since the 80's when it was located on Pearl Street. It moved to the remodeled 4th street area with all the other cools restaurants and shops in downtown. The place still looks a bit like a dive, but it does not have that run-down feeling. There are two reasons to visit Buffalo Alices: Pizza and craft beer. They do a really good job making fresh pizzas. It's not as good as Jerry's or El Fredo's, but it's up there. Having craft beer on tap makes it that much better.Service here is two stars. They don't care and or even try to make small talk. They do the minimum to get you a beer and take your order. The rest of the time they huddle and talk with each other or get on their phone.

We offer a healthy blend of Italian, American, and Mediterranean dishes on our menu. Our main objective is to provide an excellent experience by providing great food and great service!
M's has a warm, vibrant atmosphere and a delicious menu that will suit any palate. M's has hosted many memorable evenings for my friends and family including a 16th birthday celebration for our daughter, quiet dinners for two, laughter-filled meals with friends and a night of spoofy fun at their themed Murder Mystery dinner. Sioux City is fortunate to have this wonderful restaurant!

Stopped on a Saturday night, 6:30 or so. 20 Minute wait for an outside table. Place was REALLY busy. The beer list is extensive, several sours, 3 stout/porters and quite a few IPA's, at least 16 on tap the night we were in.Ordered dinner, pasta, chicken rouladen, the brisket and bacon burger and the sausage platter.Burger was phenomenal, sausage is made in house and has excellent seasoning. The Rouladen was very well done, but a bit overcooked and the pasta was on point. We didn't get a chance to try the pizza, that will be next time!

CRAVE American Kitchen & Sushi Bar is a fine dining restaurant that serves up a vibrant and diverse menu, fresh sushi and an award-winning wine list in a chic and energetic setting.
Two friends and I were on a day trip to Sioux City and we decided to eat at Crave for lunch. Beautiful restaurant, right on the river, indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered the Walleye fish sandwich with fresh fruit. The fish was fried on the outside, and ice cold on the inside. It also was not walleye, not sure what cut of fish it was. We told the server who immediately took it back to the kitchen and they redid the sandwiches with walleye and it was good. They also brought us another bowl of fresh fruit. The manager came over and apologized and comped pour meal, which was very nice. The server was very friendly, but wasn't always attentive. She was talking to other employees. We finally asked if our dessert was ready. We saw it waiting on the counter. The chocolate cake was awesome! It was a great place, just need to do some tweaking!Hi, I wanted to personally reach out and apologize for your substandard dining experience. Please know weâll be sharing this with our management team and chef. Will you please email me at your earliest convenience so I can personally help resolve the issue for you? Please email me at [email protected], I look forward to connecting.Thank you, Kylie

We are a local, family owned restaurant serving classic coney style hot dogs, homemade chili and bottled soda since 1918.
I love that Sioux City has wiener houses. I cannot find them in the South anywhere. They have hot dogs, but not conies. I ate here twice while back in my home town visiting my dad. I love the steamed soft buns, runny chili, onion bits and swipe of mustard. The grilled hot dog in the middle of it all is awesome. If the conies are not enough to win you over, the people working here are phenomenal. They smile, engage and make you feel welcome. On my second visit, my daughter wanted to Facetime to watch the process. The employees were happy to waive hello, show the process of putting the hot dogs together and say hi to my daughter.I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! There's a reason it has lasted 100 years.

I am in love with Crystal Cafe. It's the perfect blend of good food, wonderful people and a down-home feel. It's a hole-in-the-wall attached to a gas station. The interior is a series of gray booths and brown tables. Faux paneling covers the walls up the chair rails, while gray wallpaper reaches up to the false ceiling tiles. The minute you walk in the door you will be greeted with a genuine smile and hello. They check on your regularly. They never sit still, but they always make you feel special. I had an open face hot roast beef sandwich and loved it. It was nothing fancy, but it reminds me of all the ones I had on the farm during lunch break from the fields.Awesome place! Thank you Robin for making a difference.

Just driving through - but what a great find. Right down town. Expansive and creative menu. Top notch food and service. Fun environment. Affordable prices. Wish they'd open one near my home :)

We were there with a large group and had pre-ordered. The St Louis style ribs were good and didn't need any extra sauce. Bread pudding was also good served with ice cream. Service was a little slow even with the pre-order.
