Great place for breakfast and soups. Usually packed on Saturday and Sunday mornings and for a reason. This place is bustling with locals on the weekends, which means it is a gem. Food is consistent, hot, quick and amazing.

The Wilmot Stage Stop is off the beaten path and I would not have known about it unless my cousin recommended it. I was in the area and was looking for a good meal.I had a filet mignon topped with sauteed mushrooms. The baked potatoes are served with almost 1/2 stick of butter, sour cream and chives! The salads are served with 3 different dressings (French, Roquefort, and Thousand Island), all of which are made in-house. The Roquefort is especially delicious.The whole meal was delicious and the service was EXCELLENT! I would highly recommend this restaurant if you find yourself in the area. I would probably recommend this as a destination stop.Our waitress has been there for 28 years, and the restaurant changed hands a couple of years ago. From what our waitress said, the new owners took the restaurant back to the way it was in the past.The 2nd floor is a museum of items from the a800's when the building was an actual Stage Coach Stop. The 3rd floor has 10 small rooms that were the old boarding rooms. There are items from the time period in each of the locked rooms. Each door has a window to see the contents of the room.

Went there for an early dinner on a Friday. The menu is limited, burgers, sandwiches, salads, pizza. I was hoping for ribs, which you can get as part of the fish boil, but for the all you can eat price for the boil, chicken and ribs, I wasnât hungry enough to do the all you can eat fish boil. Had the grilled chicken sandwich, husband had pulled pork. They bring out three or four different bbq sauces so you can use as much or as little as you want. Everything was good and hot and the service was great! They also have a nice selection of âsignatureâ drinks at very reasonable prices. The inside is nice, itâs an old building (I remember when it was The Brave Bull Steakhouse in the 70âs), itâs a combo sports bar, beer joint, restaurant. A lot of outside seating too. It was clean. I will definitely go back as there are only a handful of places in this area where you can get good food at a good price that isnât fast food or greasy spoon. Worth trying if you are in the area.

Double decker pizza is amazing! Definitely worth the calories. But I also love their salad with grilled chicken, so if you're calorie counting, this place has something for everyone!

Stopped there for Patty melts. We think they are the best in this area. I had fries and chicken noodle soup. Fries were cooked nice and crispy and Soup was very flavorful with lots of chicken.Wife had cottage cheese instead of fries. Been customers since they opened.Always great service and reasonable prices.

We stopped here to eat on a road trip. The place from the outside looked a little questionable but inside was clean and inviting. Then we ordered chicken dumpling soup and it was outstanding. Homemade, great flavor and dumplings like my mother in law makes. We then decided to try the gyro. It was so good and I am picky about gyros! The meat was cut to order and was not greasy, super flavorful and a little crisp on the edges. Most important the tzatsiki was homemade and delicious. We didnât have any but at the entrance they had a machine for fresh squeezed orange juice. I will have to to try breakfast here some time. Make a point to eat here! The prices were reasonable and the food delicious!

We went there for fish fry, the food and service was very excellent. It felt like being way up in Northern Wisconsin without really being there.
