Food is as always just OK for a chain. We eat there from time to time and over the last years the quality of the food is declining. Waitresses are friendly, but sometimes not efficient, need to go back and forth because forgotten food items. Cash and CC

We had subs here recently. Small and large are the choices. We both ordered small and were shocked by how large "small" is in the deli. Neither of us could even eat most of half of what we ordered. Mine was cheese steak, hers was Italian meatball. More does not always mean better, and certainly not this time. Maybe the pizza is better here. We will never know.

You never can tell about a historic restaurant. Some rely on the historic draw to get diners in the door and fall short on the food quality, but my wife and I were surprised how good the food was. We started with the wild mushroom flatbread. Their version of wild mushrooms is vastly different than mine. These were merely white mushrooms but were pretty good with the garlic oil and bread. My wife ordered the shepherds pie and boy were we glad we didn't order any other entrees. The pie was huge and delicious. The gravy was poured over a mound of rich beef and lots of mashed potatoes. The gravy tasted like the real-deal homemade overnight stock type of gravy. We couldn't quite finish the whole thing and still have room for dessert. Our waitress Shannon was friendly and efficient. Parking was free and easy, though I bet somedays it could be hard to find a parking spot nearby. The only thing we didn't like was they bring water to the table without asking if we wanted plastic straws. It would be nice to at least ask first since 500,000,000 straws thrown away each day in the US is way too much! We'd definitely like to give it another try in the fall.

I’ve never been a huge fan of the food here, but on a recent trip I tried the barbecue chicken nachos, which were excellent. Crabbys is close to my house so it’s any easy place to visit for an adult beverage. I love the outside bar. The draft beer choices are good and the staff work hard and are very friendly. Try the nachos!

While the food portions were more than generous and quite tasty, my favorite part of our visit to this restaurant was the customer service. Our waitress was adorable, extremely helpful, and attentive, but meeting and chatting with Mr. Chobani was definitely the highlight. He is an extremely gregarious host! We loved talking to him; he was very kind and even showed us pictures of his children! I highly recommend this restaurant!!

Local establishment, that serves great BBQ ribs and chicken.. Other plates are delicious.. The bar, although small, you will be served quickly by the staff and they are knowledgeable of different drinks.. Everyone has a smile there.. They have a DJ near and on the weekends and they play adult music, not so much hip hop.. They have a Karoke night and everyone has fun

This small community welcomes this restaurant into the rural area. We have been told they serve a great breakfast and we will be back to try it, but today we had lunch.. We had a filling combo of chicken breast sandwiches, of which they have six versions, and french fries. According to their awards on the wall, they are known for their fries and their iced tea.Their onion rings are not bad either! Burger variety looks good for the next time. The decor is semi Cracker Barrel, but we had a feeling most of the memorabilia was original, not copies. There was a nice crowd there for lunch and we enjoyed being part of it.

This is always our half-way stop on our way to Wildwood. Never disappointed, the food is always good and lots of it. I usually get an omelette and the home fries are perfect. Staff is always friendly. Love the classic diner atmosphere, too.

Hudock's Frozen Custard Stand

Reviewed By calm_weather

In many ways, this is a typical custard stand with one building for cold and one building for hot. Been stopping here for over 50 years. It stands out for its foot long hot dogs, its belly buster hamburgers, and its shakes so thick my brother-in-law from out of state called them custard in a cup. Take advantage of the condiments, too.The prices are mid-range for custard stands, maybe a little above, but the food is very good, worth the extra fifty cents or so.

Seagraves Steak & Submarine Shop

Chopped steak that is actually chopped, cheese mixed into the steak, and literally shoveled onto the bread. These cheesesteaks are two meals on their own. Some people would call it a hole in the wall, a small footprint that is a grill, one cold cut cabinet, a couple drink refrigerators and space for four or five people to wait. It's out of the way. There's no reason to go to Salem and this is south, beyond Salem. But Seagraves gives you a reason to go through Salem to get some great cheesesteaks.
