For us old timers, Bettyâs is a real welcome addition! In the old days pre-2000, there was Margeâs Burgers, New York size burgers with loads of fries, setting up shop in a palapa, which is now Bobby by the Sea. With monkey and all, she endured even to the chagrin of many devoted customers who put up with the jumping monkey. Well, over time, I guess the authorities got wind of it and eventually cantankerous Marge threw in the towel! She set another shop in Rosarito, this time with no monkey! It didnât survive, with competition, she closed up years ago. Great to have Bettyâs specializing in variety of well made burgers, customized to your liking with French fries with soda or beer for drinks. Every burger is excellent, with some man sized burgers for the super hungry. Also on the menu is the BLT, excellent in its own right.When you have tried all the Baja cuisine, itâs nice to know you can go without hesitation to Bettyâs for an excellent burger.

Probably the best restaurant in Rosarito. Susanna's is a heaven for ex-pats but is also popular with those visiting the area. The restaurant has a beautiful interior as well as a great outdoor patio area. Her cuisine includes fresh local ingredients and tastes like its prepared by a master chef. Note: I had a lemon cake for dessert that was probably the best I've ever had.

This restaurant is right outside of the Rosarito Beach Hotel on the main boulevard. We've been to Rosarito many times but we try to eat at more of the local spots. Pancakes were calling our names so we decided to give this place a try. It was very clean, the staff were very nice, speaking in both Spanish and English, and the food was delicious. I ordered the nopales breakfast which was served piping hot with eggs and tortillas. They don't over salt the food and offered salsa if we'd like it. I would recommend this restaurant to family and friends.
