We were staying at the Carmel Inn so we used our breakfast voucher for $4/person off our breakfast bill. The eggs Benedict was great, and my husbands big breakfast (eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes) was enormous. We returned for dinner and had beef hamburgers, and my husband had the lamb burger. Both were really delicious. I dined at the Carmel when I was young, and nothing (except for the decor) has changed. Good service, reliable, tasty meals.

I had heard that Grama's Kitchen was the place to go for breakfast in Prince George. Rather than go to our usual spot we decided to test it out. It was almost like going to Breakfast and a Show. We were taken aback by the two waitresses who seemed to insult everyone that came in. Sometimes it was comical and other times seem to cross the line. While the waitresses were keeping busy in the front of the restaurant I think the kitchen had to go to the store to get my breakfast or they had to wait for chicken they serve for lunch had to lay the eggs. It seemed to take a LONG time for the food to come out. while your waiting your listening to the waitresses insult everyone while you hope they will come by with the coffee pot for a refill. When the food finally arrived it was a very good breakfast... I have mixed feeling weather or not I would go back. while I like the cozy little restaurant I think I would go to a place with better, friendlier and quicker service. I do not think I would recommend this place to friends in fact I would probably tell people about the place down the street that is a lot better.

A big shout-out for the staff and cooks on our recent dinner outing. 6 of us (4 adults and 2 children) came here for dinner. The staff made sure we had proper seating for the kids. Waiter was prompt and courteous. The food was every good. We had various dishes from burgers to grilled cheese sandwich. No complaints what so ever.

I had a very enjoyable dinner at White Spot tonight. The roasted beets were something you donât see too often and they were delicious. I could have made a meal just out of them! My steak was perfectly done and the homemade cheesecake was very yummy. Hailey was my server and she was great! The only downside was that I found the Zoo sticks and dip rather bland.

Moxie's Grill & Bar Prince George, a casual dining restaurant situated off Cariboo Highway, features delicious food menus and daily drink features. Open late.
I came in solo and sat at the bar. Busy as always on a Friday night. The bartender was busy but had everything under control. Forward thinking and not forgetting about those at the counter. A great asset to the restaurant. Great food and service. Just wanted to say a quick thank you for the recent review. We are glad you had wonderful service by our bartender. We love the feedback, and more importantly, love hearing you had a great time here. Thanks again, Rick Devore

I am from Texas where brisket and barbeque are pretty much articles of faith. Over the years, I have enjoyed BBQ fare from Kansas City, St. Louis, the Carolinas, Memphis, and others but nothing beats the savory mesquite smoked brilliance from the Lone Star State. Our project team was here in Prince George for a client kickoff meeting and twelve of us dropped in for dinner at the Copper Pig. The atmosphere was cozy and rustic. The staff was warm, friendly, and not in the least overwhelmed by our unexpected crowd. The wine list was a bit limited, but the local British Columbia selections were exceptional. I was delighted to find a perfect Cabernet Franc more than deserving of a second glass. I ordered the classic Beef Brisket BBQ Dinner smoked over maple, according to our waiter. It wasn't quite the mesquite goodness I love but it came closer than any other I've tried.

I first ate at Nancy O's with a friend for lunch. I had the falafel tacos. They were freshly made, the falafels crispy and flavorful, the slaw delicious and generous, and the aioli with chipotle so tasty. Accompanied with delicious crispy hot truffle fries with fresh shaved parmesan. Excellent. Happy to return with another friend the next week I ordered the same. This time the falafels were dry and barely warm, and the slaw and aioli so meager I had to ask for more sauce. My fires were soggy and undercooked, I could not eat them. At this restaurant you group to counter to order, then are brought out your food. Service was friendly and washrooms clean. I have given a 4 star rating because I believe the second visit was food prepared before a rush lunch hour. I will return. Third time is a charm?
