Conviently located downtown next to the popular shopping district, stop by for breakfast after flying in from Gatwick, and on route by ferry to Ouistreham/Caen, France. Super breakfast, with good coffee. Staff was concern that coffee was not served fast enough. Recommend! Note: Uber works very well in Portsmouth.

7Bone Burger Co. Servin' up American comfort food classics including our well hung (ahem) dry aged steak burgers, own smoked hot dogs and the infamous picklebacks (shot bourbon w/ picklejuice), in a feel good atmosphere coupled with service with a smile.
This was outr first visit to this place - we were looking for a place near to the Guildhall for a bite to eat as we were attending a concert there. Very attentive and friendly staff and we were quickly seated and seen to. The basic burger was excellent and the beer choice good. Plenty of fries to accompany the burger - they could have been crisper however. My wife had a side as a main dish - the cauliflower "wings" which were an odd combo of spicy wing sauce and er... cauliflower. Didn't quite work. She did however love the excellent seasoned fries. Quite buy even though it was early in the evening - very close and handy for the university. Overal a good first experience.Hi Middletonmagic,Thankyou for taking the time to write us a great 4* review. I am glad to hear you enjoyed your experience with us, with our friendly and attentive service and excellent burgers. Hope to see you again soon, Peace, Love and Dirty Fries X

A decent pub that is well decorated and has friendly staff. The drinks are not too expensive considering the location right next to the festival site. All drinks were fresh and hardly and waiting at the bar considering the crowds that were there. The tables were kept clean by the staff who have a nice happy attitude that makes you think that they enjoy working there.A decent place where I hope to visit again.
