We were staying in a hotel about a half-mile away and stopped in here for dinner. The food was good. The atmosphere was nice. The server was very attentive and friendly. Our bill was only like $30 because we didn't eat a lot, but we left the guy $20 for a tip because he was just awesome.

While staying in Peachtree City, I decided that I didnât want to eat breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Checking on-line, I found that J. Christopherâs was a short distance away, so I decided to give it a try. It is in a shopping center at the intersection of Joel Cowen Pkwy and Floy Farr Pkwy. I was seated immediately mid-morning Friday.I decided to order the eggs benedict. It was good but unremarkable. The waitstaff was friendly and helpful and the prices were reasonable. If youâre Peachtree City and looking for breakfast or lunch, J. Christopherâs is worth a try.

I have been hoping that my experience the first visit was the exception, but after eating there a wide variety of times and days, not much has changed from my first impression. I really hope management is paying attention to the reviews because the issues I saw were absolutely fixable; and honestly, we need places like Palmers in the area. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating in an attractive, casual (but not divey) atmosphere. Good for date night, business lunch or drinks with friends. The interior is an appealing industrial chic-concrete and wood surfaces. I wondered about people asking for outside seating at lunch on a sunny, 90+ degree Georgia day...it is because the inside is incredibly loud-even only partially occupied, pre-mealtime; it is loud due to all of the hard surfaces. The outside seating is comfortable and shaded and allows for quieter conversations.Let me say up front that the food is delicious. Across all of the meals I had, they were tasty, fresh, well cooked and seasoned. I have no complaints about any of the dishes I have tried.The biggest issue that continues to create a problem has been service. No matter what or when, it has been terribly slow, inattentive and haphazard. Food has taken forever to reach the table and been cold when it gets there, which is a server issue. Drinks forgotten, refills not offered until the meal was finished, orders not taken etcThese are not new complaints-they have been brought to managementâs attention over and over. If your servers are constantly in the weeds, it is time to do some hiring and add on or replace people.I really do hope they address these things, but for my part, I wonât be back until they do.GaLilbit, Thank you for your kind words about our food and atmosphere. I am perplexed by your comments, as we have a very strong front of house team right now, and we are continually training them to perform at their highest level. In addition, there is always a manager walking around to ensure the guests are well cared for. Stopped in June 2nd for dinner and drinks with friends. All our dinners were well prepared and tasty. The wine list is real good. Also they have a wee bit of entertainment which was a nice touch. Our service was horrible. Clay forgot my 2nd glass of wine. Also it took a while for our food and he didnt come around very often. Also he asked our guests for another credit card because it wouldnt scan. Our friends asked him to just enter in the number manually. Clay said some ridiculous reponse that he could do it. Asked our friends if they had cash. That was rude and they were very embarressed. We have always had good food and service here before. This just put a damper on a Sunday night.

Some of the best breakfast items you can get. Such a wonderful little breakfast/lunch restaurant. The prices are very reasonable. To top it off, the people are so friendly ... typical southern. Um um good!

I visited for a weekday dinner and there were a lot of empty seats. I ordered two of the small plates, seafood ceviche and buffalo gator tail with a side of greens. It was plenty to eat. The ceviche was the best, served with taco chips and a spoon. Biscuits were offered but I declined. Neighboring table got them and they looked great. Gator was a bit chewy. I would go back.

I visited on a weeknight for early dinner. Parking is insufficient. Service was very slow and inattentive. I started with tomato soup which was very good, but served with stale crackers. I had the filet minon with bleu cheese. It took almost half hour to be served. I ordered it medium, but got very well done, ruined. It came with garlic mashed potatoes, which were cold and steamed veggies. No bread, side salad extra. Not a full bar. Only beer and wine. Much better options nearby for me.

I am not a devotee of even upscale chain restaurants but on an incredibly hot afternoon, I needed to cool down and have a quiet lunch. Ted's offer bison and beef - I like the lean but very tasty bison burgers which are only slight more $ than beef.Thank you so much for the 5-star review! We are so happy you enjoyed our genuine hospitality and made-from-scratch food. We have over 20 gourmet burgers so you have to come back to try them ALL! We had two wonderful meals at this casual restaurant. I had the stake which was cooled perfectly and the fries were great. My wife had the pork tenderloin and it was prepared perfectly. Good wine at fair prices helped make this a very enjoyable evening. Our server Kim was very professional.we will definitely go back on our next visit to Peachtree City.

Following the recommendations of locals, we visited for dinner. The mill was built more than 150 years ago and is a wonderful setting for a special occasion. Prime Rib and Chateaubriand was first class. Our server was friendly, prompt and patient with first time diners. If possible, save room for the made from scratch desserts.
