Neighbourhood a bit dodgy, but not scary dodgy.Succulent burgers and wonderful french fries cooked in lard I think but I forgot to ask.Really friendly welcome and service.Its small and if the terrasse (which overlooks the motorway) is closed it can't handle a lot of people.Only drawback is there's no kids menu.

On the last night of a relaxing week in Lyon, hope had almost disappeared of finding somewhere to eat something satisfying at nearly 9pm. Until I stumbled upon this amazing little gem. Mike is a wonderful little place to enjoy deliciously different fried chicken. The host was wonderfully warm and knowledgable about service and his restaurant. It was a very relaxed atmosphere inside, clean and welcoming without any fuss. The chicken was AMAZING. Craft beer available and the refreshing carafe of water with a sprig of mint inside was a lovely touch. I need to return to Lyon to eat here again as it was such a pleasant experience. Despite not quite being able to easily walk home after devouring half a portion of churros with a vat of Nutella on the side. If you are hungry and like chicken, please eat here.

Listed as a Californian restaurant but serves Mexican food! I had the chicken and cheese boritto which was fine. Hubby had the veggie quesidillas which were good. Plenty of filling in both and both came with guacamole, salsa, rice and refried bean paste. Nothing special but filled a hole. Nachos appetiser with dip was good. Waitress passive with no sign of emotion or interest. Didnt have change for payment and didnt do anything about it other than apologise. Didnt think to check with other staff or customers to make change so we had to leave the outstanding as a tip. Not very switched on. Waitress poured herself excess cocktail and drank it. Wouldnt rush back.Hi Chookybirdy. So glad you and your hubby enjoyed the food. But so unhappy that you had a bad experience with our waitress. The waitress in question has not been with us long and Thursday was a her last day. Sorry we made a mistake in our hiring casting but that has been rectified. We went on a saturday and enjoyed a very good meal. We had the crab entree which was very delicious and enough for 2 persons. And we both had steak. I had the tenderloin and my boyfriend the tbone. both very delicious and soft. Price is a little bit on the expensive site but the quality is excellent.Thank you again for your visit.Hope to see you again
