Food: The rainbow salad was yummy but it was supposed to come with Indian garlic bread and I just got a chapatti, no garlic, no explanation. The carrot cake was less than good, really doughy as if undercooked. Service: not great. Not much smiling or friendliness from the staff. The table was coated with a thick layer of dust and when I asked for it to be cleaned this was done with an already dusty rag which made little difference and was then placed back on the shelf without being shaken when what it needed was a good wash. Also I ordered black masala chai and it came with milk. A bit disappointed having read all the great reviews...

The menu for this place was quite different to what is listed on their website. I assume it has changed owners? The food prices were quite high (eg. 130 for plain rice, normally less than half that price). We decided to just get some tea which was alright. You would great a good view on a clear day but be prepared for prices to match. Thank you Roxanne! Steep prices due to steep rents. But would be happy to host you again with a massive discount. Always nice to have guests return to meet us!

The Salvation cafe is at a very beautiful location at Upper Dharamkot, I had food there for three days and my favorite was the white sauce pasta. The chocolate cookies are mouth watering. There were a lot of board games to play with your friends as well, also the music being played is great! The Pet Oreo is a lovely addition to the cafe. Thank you Kshitiz and Anukriti for all the love. Will visit again !

Nice restaurant with nice ambiance. The menu had ample items to keep you interested however it's much recommended to gofor the local items to get a taste of mcleodganj's local culinary.
